Redox

Interoperability platform linking EHRs, providers, payers

Overview

Redox Engine provides a platform-as-a-service for healthcare interoperability, connecting electronic health records, providers, payers, and healthcare products to share data across the ecosystem. It acts as a data exchange layer where products connect to EHRs, providers, and payers through standardized APIs (including FHIR), with Redox handling data routing, normalization, and secure access. The service is vendor-agnostic to reduce the complexity and cost of linking diverse systems, enabling scalable data access for many applications. Its goal is to enable seamless, standards-based data sharing that supports better patient care and speeds the use of AI and machine learning in healthcare.

Redox and Lapsi Health integrate AI clinical platform into EHR workflows across 12,000 healthcare organisations

Redox and Lapsi Health have partnered to integrate AI-powered clinical tools directly into electronic health record workflows. The collaboration addresses workflow fragmentation by connecting Lapsi Health's Keikku Clinical Platform with existing EHR infrastructure through Redox's Connection Network, which spans over 12,000 healthcare organisations and more than 100 EHRs. Keikku combines AI-powered documentation, clinical reference, diagnostic support, and purpose-built hardware within a single workflow. Through Redox's interoperability capabilities, healthcare organisations can deploy the platform without lengthy implementation periods. "Healthcare doesn't need more disconnected AI tools," said Rodrigo Alvez, chief technology officer at Lapsi Health. The partnership aims to reduce integration complexity and accelerate implementation across health systems. Organisations can deploy Keikku as software-only or with hardware-enabled capabilities for ambient clinical audio capture and diagnostic auscultation.

Redox launches AI-powered integration tools to scale healthcare data workflows

Redox, a healthcare data interoperability platform, has launched AI capabilities designed to scale integration workflows and serve as infrastructure for healthcare AI applications. The new features include an MCP server, AI Assistant Suite, and intelligent data processing tools built into Redox Engine. The company's MCP server enables users to manage integrations via natural language through AI clients like Claude and Copilot. The AI Assistant Suite includes tools for configuration modification, log summaries, and payload analysis. Intelligent orchestration allows organisations to process data in-flight, with one health system using it to automatically classify incoming faxes. Nearly 70 users have adopted the features since general availability launched three weeks ago. All capabilities are designed to support HIPAA compliance, with PHI never used for AI training. The features are available to Redox's network of over 12,000 connected healthcare organisations.
