Educational Development Corporation secures $2M revolving loan with Regent Bank at reduced rates

Educational Development Corporation has secured a $2 million revolving credit facility with Regent Bank, marking a significant shift in its banking relationships. The agreement, secured by company assets including receivables, inventory, equipment and land, requires a personal guarantee from CEO Craig White. The arrangement offers increased borrowing capacity with reduced interest rates compared to the previous lender, along with an expanded definition of eligible assets. EDC is also transitioning its treasury and financial services to Regent Bank. White stated the facility will enable the company to purchase new titles and execute its growth strategy.
