PLACE, the real estate industry’s only all-in-one technology, business services, and consumer platform built for top-performing agents, has announced the acquisition of Remine, a leading provider of data intelligence and software solutions for agents, lenders, and MLSs.
Place has acquired Remine for $1.5 million in cash at auction, with the deal expected to close in two weeks. This follows Place's acquisition of Livian in September 2024. Founded in 2019, Place reached unicorn status with a $1 billion valuation after a $100 million Series A funding round in 2021. Remine, founded in 2015, was sold for $53.5 million in 2021 but faced financial struggles, leading to a voluntary bankruptcy in March 2025 and a reduction in staff from 60 to 37.
Six months after a group of multiple listing services (MLSs) united to acquire it, real estate tech company Remine on Monday announced that it has hired Frederick Townes to serve as its new chief executive.
E-Sign - Remine has added the ability for agents to share documents across MLS.
Remine, a leading real estate technology company, has been awarded “Residential Data Management Platform of the Year.”
