Brian Hanley named president of Applied Plastics.

Brian Hanley named president of Applied Plastics. New hire most recently worked at Resonetics. August 13, 2026 Managing Editor Applied Plastics, has recruited Brian Hanley to join the company as president. CEO Tom Barrett will continue in his role through the end of the year and will work closely with Hanley during his transition into the business. "Brian brings the right experience to Applied Plastics," Barrett said. "He has spent more than two decades building and scaling medtech businesses, and he understands both the engineering and the commercial sides of this work. I'll continue as CEO through the end of 2026, and I'll remain involved with the business through my role as an operating partner at Vance Street Capital." The company's PTFE Natural Family of Coating Solutions is used as a critical manufacturing aid and as a functional coating across complex delivery systems and guidewire applications, on components including guidewires, pull wires, mandrels, and hypotubes. Operating from two facilities in Norwood, Mass., Applied Plastics serves OEMs and contract manufacturers worldwide. Hanley earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA from Northeastern University. Cahill represents lead arrangers in Resonetics' $231M incremental credit facilities

Resonetics, a manufacturing company, has secured $231 million in incremental credit facilities through an amendment to its First Lien Credit Agreement. The financing comprises $220 million in term loans and $10.6 million in revolving credit commitments. Cahill represented the lead arrangers in the transaction. The incremental facilities expand Resonetics' existing credit structure, providing additional liquidity for the company's operations.

Arcline sells medical device maker Resolution Medical to Resonetics

Arcline Investment Management has agreed to sell Resolution Medical, a Minnesota-based manufacturer of medical devices and components, to Resonetics. Financial terms were not disclosed. Founded in 2012, Resolution Medical produces devices for medical technology end markets including structural heart, cardiology and vascular, electrophysiology and neuromodulation therapies. The Fridley-based company specialises in manufacturing medical devices and components for these sectors.

NASHUA, N.H., Jan. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - Resonetics announced today that it has signed an agreement to acquire Resolution Medical, a leading provider of integrated design and manufacturing solutions for complex medical devices. Resolution Medical is headquartered in Fridley, MN, with additional operations in the Netherlands, and is currently owned by Arcline Investment Management. The transaction adds complementary capabilities in high-growth therapeutic markets, including neuromodulation, structural heart, and interventional cardiology to current Resonetics offerings. The acquisition is expected to close in 2026, pending regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.
