Local DJs to share main stage with big ticket acts at Breakaway Arizona. Breakaway Arizona will be returning for its second year on April 24-25 at Sloan Park in Mesa, and one local ASU DJ will be making her mainstage debut. More than 20 different acts will be performing across multiple stages including mainstage icons like James Hype, Marshmello and ISOxo, and breakout acts like Effin, Mersiv and Steller. Local DJs DELATO, LEESH and LIVVIEP will be sharing the mainstage with these icons, and LIVVIEP says she's excited to come back. "I played the side stage last year, so being able to play at the main stage with a lot of really cool artists... I'm just really, really excited to be there," LIVVIEP, who is graduating from ASU in May, said. LIVVIEP will be bringing her "no genre is safe" approach to her Breakaway set, focusing on U.K. garage and bass while also debuting some of her new music. Breakaway co-founder Zach Ruben said he's excited for the festival brand to return to Arizona. "After seeing the passion and energy from the community in our debut year, it became clear this was a place where Breakaway could continue to build something special," Ruben said. Breakaway has partnered with Arizona-based promoter Relentless Beats and Riot Hospitality Group for this stop on the Breakaway '26 festival tour, with future stops in Georgia (May 15-16) and Ohio (May 29-30). Other sponsors such as Celsius and Jimmy John's will be presenting the Silent Disco with over 60 local and rising DJs performing and interactive fan experiences throughout the weekend. Breakaway has also recently been announcing events on the road to festival weekend, including latin house and bass music takeovers at Skysill Tempe, as well as official afterparties hosted at Maya Dayclub and Cake Nightclub in Scottsdale. Single and two-day tickets are on sale, and single-day lineups can be found here.
