Lumo Homes, Finland's largest residential real estate company, has extended the maturity of its secured syndicated loan of €125 million. The maturity moves from October 2027 to early 2030, and the loan includes two one-year extension options. The company said the amendment supports the management of its financing structure and extends the maturity profile of its loan portfolio. Nordea Bank Abp, Danske Bank A/S, OP Corporate Bank plc, Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB (publ), and Swedbank AB (publ) acted as arrangers. Lumo announced the deal on October 23, 2026.
Norwegian biorefinery company Borregaard has secured NOK 1,500 million in new sustainability-linked credit facilities from three banks: Danske Bank, DNB Bank ASA, and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken. Each bank is providing NOK 500 million under the arrangement. The five-year revolving credit facilities include two one-year extension options. Interest margins will be adjusted based on Borregaard's performance across three sustainability metrics: reducing greenhouse gas emissions, lowering workplace injuries, and cutting organic compound emissions into the Glomma river. The new facilities replace existing NOK 1,500 million credit arrangements set to mature in 2027 and will be used for general corporate purposes. Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken served as documentation coordinator for the transaction.
Sandoz has issued a €500 million bond with a 12-year maturity and a 4.835% coupon. The proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including refinancing existing debt. CFO Remco Steenbergen said the issuance strengthens the company's financial foundation and extends its debt portfolio's maturity profile. Proactive interest rate risk management enabled Sandoz to secure an attractive effective interest cost below the bond's contractual coupon. The company expects to maintain an average annual interest rate on gross debt below 4%. Its debt maturity profile now extends to 2038, with an average maturity of approximately six years. Bank of America, Mizuho, and SEB served as active bookrunners, whilst Citi, HSBC, and Société Générale acted as passive bookrunners.
Elisa Corporation has signed a €300 million committed credit facility with Danske Bank, Nordea Bank, and SEB to refinance a €300 million bond maturing in September 2027. The existing bond carries an annual coupon rate of 0.25%. The facility can be drawn within a pre-agreed period up to the maturity date and will mature in August 2029. According to CFO Kristian Pullola, the arrangement secures refinancing for next year's bond whilst creating flexibility and optimising financing costs. The Finnish telecommunications company announced the deal on 28 August 2026.
Attendo has secured a new sustainability-linked financing package to support growth in its Nordic care operations. The facilities total €100 million and SEK 3.7 billion, plus a separate SEK 750 million bilateral loan from Swedish Export Credit Corporation, replacing its 2023 credit facilities. The financing is tied to customer and employee satisfaction key performance indicators. Early repayment of the previous agreement will trigger a one-off write-down of approximately SEK 15 million in the second quarter of 2026. Management expects improved terms and higher volume to offset this impact within a year. The lending consortium includes Danske Bank, Swedbank, Swedish Export Credit Corporation and SEB. Attendo operates approximately 770 care units across Finland, Sweden and Denmark, employing around 33,000 people. The Stockholm-headquartered company is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm.
