SEGULA Technologies, a French engineering group with a global presence, is consolidating its position in Saudi Arabia with the opening of an office in Riyadh, which currently employs around 50 staff. The group also has a presence in Jeddah. SEGULA Technologies has been carrying out projects in the Kingdom for various clients for several years now, particularly in the Jeddah region. By now officially establishing itself in the heart of the Saudi capital, the Group is positioning itself close to the decision-making centres to address the Kingdom's industrial challenges. Around 50 people, mainly production engineering specialists, are currently based at the Riyadh office. The Group's aim is to double its workforce there by the end of 2026 and to reach 300 employees by 2030. "To realise its Vision 2030 of a diversified and dynamic local economy, Saudi Arabia is keen to develop its manufacturing sector. The opening of our office in Riyadh will enable us to contribute to this drive by participating in industrial projects that are pivotal to the local economy, whilst transferring our international expertise to train Saudi engineers and technicians in key production engineering skills. "The aim is to place local engineers at the heart of this national project," Ridha bellamine, director of SEGULA Technologies in Saudi Arabia. A comprehensive range of services in the automotive, aerospace, energy and rail sectors. The new Riyadh office offers a comprehensive range of services covering the entire product lifecycle, from design through to after-sales support. The teams are focusing on four key sectors: * Automotive: A comprehensive range of services across the entire value chain * Aerospace: Engineering services specialising in the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of helicopters and aircraft for leading European companies * Energy and Environment: Turnkey engineering solutions for the oil and gas industry, utilities, waste treatment, and the deployment of wind and solar energy. * Rail: Maintenance engineering, retrofitting, testing and commissioning, as well as the supervision of installations and systems. To support this offering, SEGULA Technologies in Saudi Arabia (registered as "SEGULA Technologies Company") draws on the strength of its international network, fostering synergies with its centres of expertise in India, China, Romania and Turkey, as well as in Morocco and Tunisia. The opening of this office is part of the Group's expansion strategy in the Middle East. SEGULA Technologies had already opened an office in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) three years ago, and aims to establish a presence in other countries in the region in the near future.
