SEI (NASDAQ: SEIC) has launched the SEI Pathfinder Portal, a tool that helps financial advisors plan for the growth, sustainability, and eventual transition of their businesses. The company announced the launch on October 22, 2026. The portal combines valuation tools, planning resources, educational content, and advisor networking in one place. Advisors can estimate their firm's value, build succession plans, and explore connections anonymously before deciding when to engage. The launch responds to a planning gap. About one-third of advisors plan to retire within 10 years, yet 58% have no fully documented succession plan. "For many advisors, the true value of their firm becomes clear only when a potential buyer comes forward," said Shauna Mace, head of practice management and independent advisor solutions at SEI.
