SKDK acquires digital ad shop Wavelength Strategy

SKDK acquires digital ad shop Wavelength Strategy. Wavelength is led by Democratic strategists Dan McNally and Emily Bengtston. WASHINGTON: Public affairs and political consulting firm SKDK has acquired Wavelength Strategy, a digital advertising firm known for its work with Democratic campaigns and progressive organizations. "The deal will accelerate both firms' ability to deliver best-in-class creative across all screens, from linear TV to [over-the-top] streaming services to social media and emerging new online platforms," SKDK said in a statement. For the rest of 2026, both firms will retain their existing branding while integrating backend operations. They will serve select clients as a unified team. SKDK and its subsidiaries, Sloane & Company and Jasper Advisors, are part of the Stagwell holding company. SKDK was acquired by Stagwell in 2015 and has seen significant recent growth, reporting a revenue increase of 26% to $111 million in 2024, according to PRWeek's Agency Business Report 2025. Stagwell's communications segment posted a 20.9% organic net revenue decrease to $96.49 million in the third quarter, its first quarter reporting its PR agencies under a specific operating unit. Along with SKDK, the segment comprises Stagwell's communications and advocacy-focused agencies, including Allison Worldwide, Consulum, HarrisX, Hunter, Sloane & Company and Targeted Victory.
