Overview

SPAICE Technology develops SPAICE-OS, an AI-powered operating system for space and defense that enables satellites and drones to operate autonomously in GPS-denied environments. It processes perception with onboard cognitive sensors and plans trajectories in real time to perform collision-free maneuvers, and it works across different vehicles and propulsion systems by integrating with off-the-shelf hardware. The product is sold via a software-integration subscription, with PoCs in progress and customers like Leonardo aiming to reduce tailored In-Orbit Servicing operations for life extension, debris removal, in-orbit assembly, and rendezvous. The goal is to lower mission costs, enable autonomous operations, and extend applicability beyond space to terrestrial, underwater, and aerial contexts.
