SRC promotes Jim Werner to Director, Counter Target Systems. Syracuse, NY - SRC, Inc. ("SRC" or "Company"), is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Werner to Director, Counter Target Systems. In this role, Werner will provide senior leadership and strategic oversight for SRCTec's CUAS, EW and LCMR production portfolios, overseeing day-to-day execution while supporting long-term growth and customer relationships. He will be working closely with program management and factory leadership to drive successful execution across the portfolios. "Jim's background in systems and product engineering, combined with his leadership experience, makes him well-positioned to take on this role," said Kevin Hair, president and CEO. "We look forward to the perspective he will bring as we continue to grow." Werner holds a master's degree in industrial engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, a master's degree in electrical engineering from SUNY Binghamton and a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from Clarkson University. Unger started his career at SRC in intelligence analysis and has been instrumental in establishing the company's international subsidiaries. In his most recent position as senior vice president of international operations, he worked to advance product development in emerging markets, including autonomous systems and AI/ML. He holds a master's degree in engineering management from Syracuse University and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. SRC awarded follow-on contract to supply SR Hawk radars to Polish Armed Forces. SRC, Inc. has been awarded a follow-on contract to deliver its SR Hawk surveillance radar systems to the Polish military for integration into the AWR artillery reconnaissance vehicle, based on the Rosomak wheeled armored personnel carrier (APC). This award builds on SRC's longstanding partnership with WB Group to support the Polish Armed Forces and the defense of the European Union, following previous contracts from 2021 and 2024 for BWR-1D/S Reconnaissance Fighting Vehicles and 2024 for AWR artillery reconnaissance vehicles. The addition of SRC's SR Hawk surveillance radar, the artillery reconnaissance vehicles integrate the system's Fall-of-Shot capability with WB Group's TOPAZ Automated Fire Control System, enabling full situational awareness and automated battlefield system cueing. "SRC is proud to support the ongoing modernization of Poland's armed forces and build on the success of earlier SR Hawk deployments," said Kevin Hair, president and CEO of SRC, Inc.
