Supermicro to build AI inference racks with 10,000 SambaNova SN50 chips alongside NVIDIA GPUs

SambaNova, an AI chip company, has teamed up with Supermicro to build and sell inference systems that pair its SN50 chips with NVIDIA GPUs. The collaboration initially plans for 10,000 SN50 Reconfigurable Dataflow Unit (RDU) chips. Supermicro will integrate, test, deliver, and support the systems, including on-site service. SambaNova engineers will tune models on the SN50 and help with deployments. In the systems, NVIDIA GPUs read the prompt while SN50 chips write the response. SambaNova says this lets operators add inference capacity without waiting for new data center build-outs, and extends the life of existing GPUs. The companies will start with NeoClouds and sovereign clouds, then move to enterprises that run AI in their own data centers.

SambaNova and Emergys partner to accelerate enterprise agentic AI deployment.

SambaNova and Emergys partner to accelerate enterprise agentic AI deployment. By Business Wire India - Published on October 30, 2026 at 10:43 AM IST Business Wire India * Strategic partnership combines the highest performance inference with enterprise services to accelerate agentic AI deployments. * The companies will jointly pursue opportunities across enterprise, regulated and sovereign AI markets. SambaNova, the AI chip company delivering the highest performance inference, today announced a strategic partnership with Emergys, a digital transformation services company, to accelerate the deployment of agentic AI from pilot to production for enterprise customers. Emergys will provide professional services, managed services, AI platform operations and customer success services to SambaNova customers, from first deployment through ongoing operation and optimization. "We've deployed SambaNova for our clients and seen what it does for cost and speed," said Krish Prabhu, CEO of Emergys. Agentic AI is driving a sharp rise in inference demand. NeoClouds, sovereign AI providers and enterprises increasingly want to serve it from capacity they control: as a cloud for their customers, in-country, or on premises. Bringing that capacity online goes beyond hardware. It takes deployment, model onboarding, capacity planning, monitoring, and round-the-clock service operations. "Tokens are becoming a strategic resource, and more organizations want to produce them, whether to sell as a service, keep in-country, or power their own agents," said Abhi Ingle, Chief Customer and Solutions Officer at SambaNova. "SambaNova provides the full stack inference solution optimized for energy efficiency and fast inference. Emergys gives customers a proven team to deploy SambaNova's platform while running and managing it as a production service." The partnership pairs SambaNova's full-stack inference platform, built on its Reconfigurable Dataflow Unit (RDU) chips and systems, with Emergys' experience deploying and running business-critical platforms for global enterprises. Together they help customers bring an inference cloud online quickly and run it as a production service for their users and applications. Enterprise AI in Production with SambaNova The companies already work together. Emergys recently deployed a sovereign AI platform on SambaNova for a major energy company, extending AI assistants into job safety analysis, finance, audit and engineering services. Emergys reported that the deployment reduced costs by 40%: "We've deployed SambaNova for our clients and seen what it does for cost and speed," said Krish Prabhu, CEO of Emergys. "This partnership gives our customers the dual benefit of leveraging our Inference Engineering expertise as well as our world-class Enterprise Solutions and Data Science & AI practices - resulting in a faster path to production and meaningful business outcomes." SambaNova and Emergys will jointly pursue enterprise, regulated and sovereign AI opportunities globally. SambaNova and Oracle to deploy SN50 AI chips in Oracle Cloud data centres

SambaNova, an AI chip company, announced a collaboration with Oracle to bring its chips to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) data centres. The deal pairs OCI's infrastructure with SambaNova's Reconfigurable Dataflow Unit (RDU) chips, aimed at AI inference. Oracle plans to host the systems and offer the capacity to customers that need a high-performance, efficient inference platform. "Inference demand is growing fast," said Karan Batta, senior vice president of OCI. SambaNova's SN50 is its fifth-generation RDU, built for agentic AI. The company says it delivers up to 5X the maximum speed of competing chips and 3X lower total cost of ownership. Each SambaRack SN50 draws an average of 20 kW, low enough for existing air-cooled data centres. The chip can also work alongside NVIDIA GPUs.

Oracle adds Google, Cerebras and SambaNova AI chips to cut reliance on Nvidia

Oracle is adding AI chips from Google, Cerebras, and SambaNova to its cloud networks, as it seeks to reduce its reliance on Nvidia. It marks the first time Google is selling its Tensor Processing Units (TPUs) for use in a third-party data centre, rather than only renting out capacity. Cerebras' chips will provide AI inference and AI agent processing power, while SambaNova's SN50 processor will handle agentic inference. Companies want to avoid being locked into a single supplier and to contain costs. Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, OpenAI, and Anthropic also have or are developing custom chips. Nvidia is not in immediate trouble, though. Oracle is also bringing Nvidia's Vera Rubin NVL72 superclusters and Vera CPUs to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Oracle is also partnering with OpenAI on an AI Workspace, which lets users access Oracle's tools via ChatGPT.

SambaNova and Oracle Collaborate to Bring High-Performance Inference to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

SambaNova and Oracle Collaborate to Bring High-Performance Inference to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure TMCnet News [October 27, 2026] | / | SambaNova and Oracle Collaborate to Bring High-Performance Inference to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure SambaNova, the AI chip company delivering high-performance inference, today announced a collaboration with Oracle to bring its AI chips to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) data centers. The collaboration will combine OCI's infrastructure with SambaNova's Reconfigurable Dataflow Unit (RDU) chips to deliver a new level of performance, speed, and efficiency at scale to AI customers. This press release features multimedia. View the full release here: https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20261027598375/en/ SambaNova and Oracle are collaborating to deploy SambaNova SN50 AI chips in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) data centers "Our customers want the right infrastructure for every AI workload, and inference demand is growing fast," said Karan Batta, senior vice president, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle. "We plan to bring SambaNova's RDU chips to OCI to give AI builders another efficient way to run models at scale." Oracle plans to host the systems in its data centers and provide the capacity to customers who need a high-performance and highly efficient inference platform. "Oracle doesn't wait for the market to settle; it builds ahead of it," said Rodrigo Liang, co-founder and CEO, SambaNova. "Agents are driving the next wave of inference demand. They need tokens fast, all day, at a cost that works. That's what SN50 was built to do. OCI will put that capacity in the hands of the builders who need it." Oracle began investing in AI infrastructure early and has continued to expand its efforts, from gigawatt-scale AI data centers to a widening range of compute on OCI. Inference is the next shift: agentic AI runs nonstop, and chains mode calls. That demands fast, efficient tokens that deliver ROI within the year. SambaNova's high-performance inference gives customers a new option for exactly this kind of workload. About the SambaNova SN50 RDU Chip SN50, SambaNova's fifth-generation RDU, is purpose-built for agentic AI. It delivers up to 5X the maximum speed of competitive chips and 3X lower total cost of ownership. SambaRack SN50 draws an average of 20 kW per rack, low enough to scale in existing air-cooled data centers. SN50 is also built for disaggregated inference, where GPUs handle prefill, and SN50 handles decode, the token-generation stage that determines how fast agents respond. With SN50 alongside NVIDIA GPUs, SambaNova is boosting token-generation capability to existing GPU infrastructure.
