SABHH provides inpatient psychiatric care and substance abuse treatment in a 198-bed facility in Northwest San Antonio as part of Universal Health Services (UHS). It offers a full continuum of care, including inpatient hospitalization, a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), using trauma-informed, evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, and PTSD treatments (PE and CPT), along with medication management, therapy, and holistic activities like yoga. A distinctive feature is the Victory Program, tailored for active-duty military personnel and veterans and aligned with Department of Defense and VA guidelines, with TRICARE certification. The hospital aims to provide individualized mental health and substance use treatment for adults, adolescents, and military communities through structured care levels and clinically guided therapies.
