Overview

Scarborough Health Network is a community teaching health network serving Scarborough, Ontario through three hospitals and satellite sites. It provides emergency, diagnostic, surgical, rehabilitation, maternity, cancer, cardiac, mental-health, paediatric, geriatric, and nephrology care. Clinical programs are organized around the needs of one of Canada’s most diverse urban communities. SHN combines broad community hospital care with regional specialties that draw patients from beyond Scarborough, while teaching partnerships make clinical education, research participation, and workforce development part of the network’s role.
