A core effort is Lighthouse, an open-source Ethereum 2.0 client written in Rust, which Sigma Prime founded and maintains; the team is heavily involved in Ethereum 2.0 engineering and research. Lighthouse implements the Ethereum 2.0 specification as a Rust-based client that participates in the network’s consensus. Overall, Sigma Prime aims to influence how people use computers to cooperate and communicate by advancing secure, scalable blockchain and system design.
