SSlip Robotics provides the SlipBot, an Automated Loading Robot offered as a Robots-as-a-Service for loading docks. The system loads or unloads a full trailer in about five minutes by staging freight at the dock and moving it as a single unit, with control software (SlipController and SlipView) and attachments for non-uniform items, all without facility changes or IT setup. They differentiate themselves with rapid deployment, trailer-agnostic hardware, a data-driven management layer, and a safety advantage by removing forklift operators from trailer interiors under a subscription model. Their goal is to cut dock loading time and truck dwell, boost throughput, and scale deployments while delivering actionable operational data.

Atlanta-based Slip Robotics has launched SlipLift, a new platform extending autonomous trailer loading and unloading beyond short-haul routes to heavier freight, regional distribution and last-mile delivery. The system supports payloads up to 20,000 pounds and requires no facility, trailer or IT infrastructure modifications. SlipLift decouples robots from payloads, allowing fewer robots to service more docks whilst maintaining the speed and safety of Slip's existing SlipBot platform. The system uses customisable SlipCarriers that stack when empty to save space. Operators control the process via handheld devices whilst remaining outside trailers. The platform enables pre-staging of freight for last-mile operations and faster morning load-outs. Initial deployments are underway, with broader availability planned throughout the year. Slip Robotics' existing clients include John Deere, GE Appliances and Nissan.
Since Dan Dziak joined Slip Robotics, he's jumped headfirst into CAD models, panel and battery redesigns, and keeping the coffee industry afloat.
Slip Robotics today announced that it has added SlipBot+, a suite of modular attachments for its SlipBot system.
Four Hands, the leading global designer and wholesaler of lifestyle home furnishings, is partnering with Slip Robotics to increase efficiency in warehouse operations.
Slip Robotics, developer of robotic trailer technology designed to simplify the loading and unloading process of trucks, raised $28 million through a combination of Series B-1 and Series B-2 venture funding in a deal led by DCVC.
