The company is focused on enabling energy providers to harness the power of EVs as a valuable energy resource by expanding its EV support to a wider range of models.Smartcar will help Emulate automate EV data retrieval to optimise charging schedules based on different pricing factors. Today, API specialist Smartcar announced it has partnered with Lyft to help provide the latter's EV drivers with a handy new tool to keep their rides going without worrying about running out of battery during a trip.
By integrating Smartcar's API platform with Lyft's rideshare system, they have introduced the "Rides in Range" feature, ensuring that EV drivers receive only ride requests that match their current battery capacity.
