Overview

Spearhead designs and builds complex timber and steel structures for architectural projects, collaborating with architects, engineers, and builders. It uses Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) to connect BIM-based design to CNC fabrication and on-site assembly. It differentiates itself with vertical integration, notably a $60 million facility to manufacture its own glue-laminated timber (glulam) in-house, including long curved elements, zero-VOC products, and GSA glued-in-rod tech, with machinery from Ledinek and Hundegger. Its goal is to streamline the path from concept to construction and deliver architecturally driven, sustainable timber and steel architecture across multiple countries.
