cTrader takes Best Trading Platform at UF Awards APAC 2026 as Spotware centres broker growth at iFX EXPO Asia. Key facts. * cTrader was named Best Trading Platform at UF Awards APAC 2026 during iFX EXPO Asia in Hong Kong. * More than 12 million traders use cTrader, which supports 23 languages and serves more than 300 brokers and prop firms, including a build localised for mainland China. * cTrader MCP servers for trading connect the platform to AI apps, and cTrader CLI runs trading, account and algo work from the command line. * The cTrader Leads programme draws on cTrader Store and the cross-broker app, together more than 170K visits a month, with an average first deposit of $800 and 2.3 deposits per user per month, at no upfront cost. * cFinancial charges a flat $4 per $1M on FX and metals. cBridge uses fixed, infrastructure-based pricing, with potential savings of up to 80% against volume-based bridge models. At iFX EXPO Asia in Hong Kong, cTrader was named Best Trading Platform at UF Awards APAC 2026. The title comes as cTrader keeps extending its reach in major Asian markets, mainland China among them, on a platform localised for traders in that region. Worldwide, more than 12 million traders already use cTrader. It supports 23 languages and is in the hands of more than 300 brokers and prop firms. AI sits high on the list for traders and for brokers, and cTrader is already built for it. cTrader MCP servers for trading join the platform to popular AI apps. Traders say what they need in plain language, and the AI analyses markets, manages accounts, handles orders and positions or adjusts the trading workspace. With cTrader CLI, meanwhile, trading, account and algo operations can be run from the command line by hand, or handed to an AI assistant. cTrader is still a leading platform for traders at every level of experience. Newer traders come for the mobile-first, intuitive interface, the risk-management tools built in, executable signals, price alerts and educational content. Experienced traders get advanced order controls, a professional workspace for technical analysis, native C# and Python support, and free 24/7 cloud execution for cBots, with no VPS required. What brokers wanted to know in Hong Kong. Three questions kept coming up at the Expo: "How can we acquire new clients without extra spending?", "What can we offer that competitors don't?" and "How can Financefeeds improve the cost-efficiency of its liquidity setup?". Here is how Financefeeds answered them. New clients without a bill for every click. The cTrader Leads programme lets brokers reach and convert traders who are already looking through broker offerings, or hunting for new trading tools, inside cTrader, at no upfront cost. Those openings come through cTrader Store and the cross-broker cTrader app, which together bring in more than 170K visits a month. After a trader converts, the average first deposit reaches $800, and the average is 2.3 deposits per user per month. An offer the next firm cannot copy off the shelf. In a market this competitive, standing apart has become a business priority. Multi-platform plugins open a new route for brokers and prop firms, so they can shape a cTrader offering around client needs, business goals and brand identity. A firm can build its own tools and services into cTrader, pre-install them for its clients and, if it wishes, list them in cTrader Store to reach new potential clients. There is no wait for a core platform release. Brokers and prop firms can launch exclusive services on their own timetable, serve different trader segments and use cases, and put together an offering that is distinctly theirs. Liquidity that stays cost-effective as volume grows. Liquidity was another large topic in Hong Kong, above all the pressure to improve pricing and execution without letting infrastructure costs climb at the same pace. cFinancial, an institutional liquidity provider for brokers and prop firms, was at the expo and drew particularly strong interest. Ricardo Dias, Business Development Manager, even called it "the star of the Expo." cFinancial offers executable pricing, intelligent routing and resilient infrastructure, with a flat commission of $4 per $1M on FX and metals. For brokers, the job does not finish once liquidity is available. After it is connected, they still need an efficient way to manage aggregation, routing and exposure. That is the role of cBridge, a standalone liquidity bridge, which brings those functions into a single workflow across cTrader, MT4, MT5 and FIX API. With fixed, infrastructure-based pricing, bridge costs do not rise with trading volume, offering potential savings of up to 80% compared with volume-based models. Taken together, cFinancial and cBridge cover both sides of the task: access to competitive liquidity, and the cost-efficient infrastructure required to manage it. Talk to the team. The Expo may be over, but the challenges raised there are as live as they were on the floor. If you could not be in Hong Kong, Financefeeds would be glad to walk you through the solutions that fit your business best. About spotware Systems. eBooks.com debuts unified mobile reading apps for complex digital formats. As reported by Good e-Reader, eBooks.com has launched two new reading apps for iOS and Android, built through an Australian-European partnership and grounded in open digital publishing standards. Lloyd Cranston, E-Ink Hardware & Display Analyst·updated September 13, 2026 The apps consolidate fixed-format EPUB, audio-visual ebooks, manga, and textbooks with specialized typography into a unified reader for iPhone, iPad, and Android. For users managing subscriptions across fragmented digital platforms, the release is a substantive platform upgrade rather than an incremental refresh. Reading stack: Readium LCP, Colibrio, and Thorium integration. The new apps were developed jointly with the European Digital Reading Lab and Sweden-based Colibrio, with Readium LCP handling DRM and the broader stack aligned to the Readium open-source reference implementation. Readium is the same framework underpinning a growing share of ePaper and digital-newspaper delivery pipelines, which gives the launch relevance beyond commercial ebooks. eBooks.com positions the mobile reader alongside its browser-based Online Reader and support for the Thorium desktop reading application, producing a unified endpoint set across mobile, web, and desktop. From a rendering standpoint, this matters because fixed-format EPUBs - the format most textbooks, comics, and image-heavy publications rely on - require a layout engine that preserves absolute positioning, embedded fonts, and AV overlays without losing the publisher's original layout. Apps built on reflowable-only engines typically fail on those assets, defaulting to broken images or misaligned columns. The Colibrio partnership supplies a layout layer capable of handling those file types natively alongside standard reflowable content, which is operationally significant for academic and reference workflows where page fidelity is required. Typography, display, and accessibility engineering. The apps integrate with VoiceOver on iOS and TalkBack on Android, then extend those system hooks with reader-side controls: text size, typeface, spacing, alignment, color, and margins are all user-adjustable. eBooks.com has also added reading profiles intended for dyslexic readers and other visual or cognitive preferences - a layer beyond default OS-level scaling. Offline reading is supported, which is operationally relevant for users on metered connections or in low-coverage regions. Founder Stephen Cole described the platform as 'bristling with useful features,' built around accessibility, simplicity, and interoperability, with iOS and Android assistive technologies integrated at the system level. What to verify before switching your library. Three checks are worth running before migrating existing libraries or starting a new subscription: * Format audit. Confirm that fixed-format EPUBs, AV-enhanced titles, and specialized-font textbooks render correctly. The spec supports them; device-level behavior under those assets should be tested with a sample title before committing. * DRM scope. Readium LCP is the stated DRM layer. Verify that titles acquired through other ecosystems - Adobe DRM or proprietary store DRM - are either compatible or have a documented migration path. * Cross-device sync. With mobile, web, and desktop endpoints in play, confirm whether reading position, annotations, and bookmarks sync across all three surfaces - a frequent gap in newly launched multi-platform readers. The pattern of legacy platforms rebuilding around open, standards-based stacks extends well beyond reading apps. Adjacent content verticals are pursuing similar consolidation around creator-facing tooling and open delivery frameworks - one parallel example is the launch of Spotware's cTrader Creator program for AI-driven trading strategies, which similarly repositions an established platform around a refreshed, open-standards app layer.

Exclusive: Spotware names Sergei Grigoriev general manager of new liquidity arm cFinancial. Wednesday, 09/09/2026 | 02:45 GMT-7 by Damian Chmiel * He ran brokerage at Admirals until February and spent six years at Eurotrader before that, both in Cyprus. * cFinancial opens in the week of September 21 with a starting commission of $4 per million dollars traded. Spotware Systems has named Sergei Grigoriev general manager of cFinancial, the institutional liquidity provider the cTrader developer recently registered, FinanceMagnates.com has lerarned. It will quote brokers a starting commission of $4 per $1 million traded, the company said today (Wednesday). Brokers running cTrader can now take the front end, the routing layer and the liquidity itself from one supplier. Spotware said the $4 rate applies from a client's first trade rather than after a monthly volume threshold, which is how institutional tiers are normally earned. FinanceMagnates.com reported on Monday that Spotware had registered cFinancial in Seychelles as a licensed securities dealer covering FX, metals, commodities, indices, equities, crypto and synthetics over a single FIX 4.4 connection. A manager from the broker side. Sergei Grigoriev has spent his career inside brokerages, not at trading venues or banks. He was head of brokerage and executive director at Admirals from June 2024 until February 2026, according to his LinkedIn profile. Before that he spent six years at Eurotrader in Cyprus, first as head of risk management from 2017 and then as executive director until 2023. Earlier roles were at Hello Markets, Tadawul FX and BCS Global Markets, where he ran dealing on own account from 2008. Sergei Grigoriev said exclusively to FinanceMagnates.com that cFinancial was designed around the operational needs of brokers, and that its objective is to "remove unnecessary complexity and cost from the liquidity setup." Four dollars per million, from the first trade. At launch, $4 per $1 million traded will be the standard starting commission for every institutional client. What is being sold is timing, not the number itself: clients reach that rate immediately instead of building volume toward it. Spotware said the full commercial setup may vary by instrument, flow profile and execution requirements. The company ties those terms to cBridge, the connectivity layer it launched in March with fixed infrastructure fees in place of charges that scale with volume. Because the technology cost does not rise with every million traded, it said, that efficiency can be pushed into the commission. Platform vendors are selling liquidity too. Spotware is not the first platform vendor to put a liquidity arm next to the software. Match-Prime began liquidity services in December 2020 under a Cyprus Investment Firm license and runs on Match-Trade Technologies' infrastructure, while both firms describe themselves as separate ventures. MetaQuotes priced the connectivity instead, dropping monthly fees for its Ultency bridge in December in favor of $1 per $1 million traded. The two figures are not comparable: Ultency charges for routing, while cFinancial's commission buys the price itself. Match-Trade Chief Executive Michał Karczewski warned in April that flat bridge fees risk becoming "a race to zero", and that vendors would survive only by diversifying into liquidity provision, platform licensing and data. Spotware now sells all three. Where the prices come from and who sees the flow. cFinancial draws on a mix of bank, non-bank and electronic sources rather than one underlying venue, the company said, and it declined to tie individual orders to a single ultimate source. It named none of the providers. Routing runs through cBridge. Brokers decide what reaches cFinancial, and Sergei Grigoriev said cFinancial "does not gain visibility of flow routed to other providers through cBridge." cFinancial holds a Seychelles securities dealer license, SD169, and is closed to US counterparties and retail investors. Spotware's software is used by more than 300 brokers and prop firms and about 11 million traders, and cFinancial is due to open in the week of September 21.
