Staccato introduces 'the Last Call,' a documentary series honoring LE special operations teams.

Staccato introduces 'the Last Call,' a documentary series honoring LE special operations teams. Miami, Florida- September 2026- Staccato 2011, the creator of the 2011(R) pistol platform and a leading developer of precision firearms, ammunition, and shooting facilities, today announced "The Last Call," a documentary series dedicated to the people behind America's elite law enforcement SWAT teams. See more about the firearms industry and new gun news on the gun bulletin! The series tells the human stories behind units whose work is rarely seen by the public. Each installment offers a behind-the-badge look at a team's dedication and commitment to serving its community and mastering its craft, showcasing each unit's rigorous training and preparation, strategic operations, and the personal costs that define this line of work. "The men and women on these teams are the people who commit their lives selflessly to protecting our communities, our loved ones, and our country. They don't do this work for recognition, and most of the time they don't get any," said Buck Pierson, CEO of Staccato. Staccato is the storyteller and production partner behind the series, building on longstanding relationships with law enforcement professionals and agencies that rely on its pistols. The first installment, "The Last Call: Miami-Dade," was produced with rare operational access to the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office Special Response Team. Through interviews with team members, the film examines the demands of their training, the mindset required in high-risk environments, the dynamic of working as a team, the sacrifices asked of their families, and the weight officers carry home at the end of a shift. Among the SRT members featured is Jonathan Menocal, a USPSA Grand Master, certified firearms instructor, and member of Team Staccato, the brand's squad of competitive shooters and tactical professionals. "We hope that people come away from this series with a clearer picture of who these officers are and what they carry with them. They are heroes who deserve all of our appreciation," said Willem Driessen, CMO of Staccato. Importantly, the team members tell the story themselves, offering viewers an authentic perspective on the people behind the mission. "Being part of the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office Special Response Team (SRT) is about much more than tactics and training. It's about trust, discipline, sacrifice, and knowing that the person beside you is prepared to answer the call with you. We're grateful for the opportunity to give the community a look beyond the uniform and see the dedication of the men and women who train every day to be ready when they are needed most!" "Long Life To Those Who Dare" - Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office SRT. "The Last Call: Miami-Dade" is available online now on the Staccato YouTube channel. Additional installments featuring law enforcement teams from other agencies are planned for release later this year. Estimated reading time: 2 minutes Staccato officially announced the HD P4X today, and USA Carry got to shoot it before the embargo lifted. Staccato invited us out to Staccato Ranch Vegas, where our USA Carry representative put rounds through the new pistol and Team Staccato professional shooter Michelle Viscusi gave us a full rundown of the gun. The HD P4X is built on the same 4-inch compensated platform as the HD C4X, the concealed carry model with a compact aluminum frame. The P4X takes that platform in the opposite direction. It pairs a precision-machined 4140 DLC steel frame with a full-size Staccato HD grip, aimed squarely at duty belts, professional deployment, and overt carry. SHOP ALL STACCATTO P4X DEALS The steel frame soaks up recoil, and the 4-inch DLC flush-fit compensated barrel cuts muzzle rise. The full-size grip brings capacity up to 18-round magazines. Staccato says the combination delivers the control and shot-to-shot consistency the HD line is known for, and it was one of the most requested configurations from their customers. Springfield Armory Gear Pac Offer 0 seconds of 33 seconds Volume 90% Paul Smith, Staccato's Senior Vice President of Product, called it "the most shootable, reliable, mission-ready handgun we've ever built." Like the rest of the HD line, the P4X runs ambidextrous controls with a dual-sided safety and slide stop, a reversible magazine catch, Glock-pattern magazine compatibility, an active firing pin block, and Staccato's HD HOST optic-mounting system. Every HD pistol also passes the federal Ballistic Research Facility standards, protocols built to simulate real-world defensive encounters. Viscusi walked us through the pistol at the range, and our representative confirmed what the spec sheet promises. The steel frame and comp keep the gun flat, and the full-size grip makes it easy to drive through strings of fire. The HD P4X is chambered in 9x19mm and will come in three configurations with a starting MSRP of $3,599. It hits Staccato authorized dealers on July 13, 2026. Like every Staccato, it's built in Texas from American steel. Luke McCoy is the founder of USA Carry.
