The story behind Streamyard's new look. Today, StreamYard, Inc. is launching a new design and logo for Streamyard. StreamYard, Inc. loved its old look (and especially its original duck logo). However, as Streamyard has continued to evolve, StreamYard, Inc. is evolving its brand with it. Keep reading to see exactly what's changing and why, plus a preview of what's still to come for Streamyard. Its new look. For years, people have relied on Streamyard for a professional and user-friendly streaming experience, regardless of their technical skills. It was exactly this combination of quality and friendliness that StreamYard, Inc. aimed to capture in its new visual identity - reflecting Streamyard's powerful capabilities, while staying true to the core simplicity that users love. StreamYard, Inc. started with the design of the product itself. When you entered the old Streamyard for the first time, you saw this: The layout was straightforward - especially compared to other streaming platforms - but StreamYard, Inc. knew StreamYard, Inc. could make it friendlier. So StreamYard, Inc. replaced the existing content sections with a single 'Create' tab in center-stage. Now, instead of being told they have no upcoming streams, new users are encouraged to create from the moment they open Streamyard. And for returning users, StreamYard, Inc. also gave a gentle refresh to the overall design. StreamYard, Inc. made the color palette more vibrant and simplified the font, while softening the buttons and sidebar to be more approachable - all while keeping the core layout and functionality of the old dashboard. Crucially, the in-studio experience and key workflows are exactly the same, but cleaner and more polished than before. With its new design, StreamYard, Inc. think Streamyard feels at once more modern and easier to navigate. The duck question. As StreamYard, Inc. refreshed Streamyard's overall design, StreamYard, Inc. also set out to revamp its logo. For years, Puddles (its beloved Streamyard duck) has been an approachable companion for streamers of all levels. So StreamYard, Inc. set out to adapt him to its new identity: friendly and accessible - yes, but professional and modern at the same time. And its designers found three key ways to achieve it: Number 1: Make him blue. Its previous logo wasn't integrated with the rest of the brand: Puddles was a mix of oranges and greens, while Streamyard itself is primarily blue. By adapting Puddles to Streamyard's signature electric blue color, StreamYard, Inc. were able to bring him closer to the product itself. Number 2: Simplify the design. For a logo, the old design was quite realistic. This was great for big images, but the finer details didn't translate well to smaller icons. The new logo is designed to look crisp and professional in every context. Number 3: Make him more 'human'. Puddles' new design can be adapted (and animated!) to match a variety of situations and emotions. As a result, he's more present throughout the experience of using Streamyard. (Take a look at what happens next time you hover over the logo.) Why are StreamYard, Inc. making these changes now? Streamyard's new look is a celebration of all the improvements, big and small, that have come to the platform. In the last year, StreamYard, Inc. has launched a suite of brand new tools: * | Multi-Aspect Ratio Streaming (MARS): letting you increase your reach on any platform * | Scenes: to effortlessly move between pre-set layouts when live * | Customization for AI Clips: so you can refine clips to capture your message But on top of that, its engineers have also worked behind the scenes to deliver major improvements to the core features users rely on, like better video quality for all broadcasts (using the same assessment tool as Netflix). And those are really just the highlights. In 2025, the team made a total of 55 individual improvements to Streamyard, helping it remain a platform that thousands of creators rely on to share their stories with the world. Now, its new brand is designed to reflect that. What's next for Streamyard? StreamYard, Inc. is proud of Streamyard's new features and fresh look. However, the core experience that users rely on remains the same. Even if you're a long-time user, you won't need to 'relearn' Streamyard - now or ever. That's because, rather than changing things for the sake of it, StreamYard, Inc. is only interested in implementing features that make a real difference to its users, whether that's fixing small (but important) snags in the product experience, or launching tools that redefine the way you grow your community. So here's a sneak preview of what StreamYard, Inc. is bringing to Streamyard in 2026: * Fresh tools to boost your content's reach (without changing the content itself) * Entirely new ways of interacting with your audience * Integrations with other key platforms, so you can effortlessly plug in your setup * An upgraded suite of customization tools, so your content remains unmistakably yours If you want to see all its latest improvements as they come out, you can follow its progress via the official Product Updates page. (Click the bell icon in the top right corner to get each update delivered straight to your inbox). As always, thank you for trusting Streamyard to tell your story. StreamYard, Inc. can't wait to see what you create in 2026!
