Agencies subscribe to Swiftly’s software and can get customized solutions tailored to their needs, including features for communicating rapid changes and managing crises. Unlike generic analytics platforms, Swiftly focuses on transit-specific workflows and equity, aiming to ensure all communities have access to reliable transportation. The company’s goal is to help transit systems run more smoothly, inform riders quickly about service changes, and promote equitable access to public transit.

Swiftly announced that Cove Hill Partners will lead a strategic investment in the company with continued participation and support from JMI Equity.
Swiftly, a San Francisco-based transit data platform provider, has acquired Hopthru, a Seattle-based transit data platform. The deal's amount was not disclosed. The acquisition will integrate Hopthru’s ridership data and analytics into Swiftly’s platform, enhancing data access, monitoring, and analysis for transit agencies. Hopthru, led by CEO Cole Calhoun, serves agencies like San Diego’s North County Transit District. Swiftly, led by CEO Jonny Simkin, works with over 160 agencies in 10 countries.
PVTA has worked with transit data platform provider Swiftly Inc. to deploy modern technology for connecting with passengers.
Today Swiftly is excited to announce several updates to Service Adjustments that weave ad hoc changes through more Swiftly modules, helping its products work even better together and allowing agency staff to collaboratively manage incidents as they happen and investigate issues after the fact.
That’s why Swiftly is excited to announce a series of updates to Swiftly’s Metronome line of products that take on some of the most common issues associated with detours and unfamiliar routes.
