SwipeSense provides a healthcare technology platform that uses a sensor network and employee-worn badges to monitor patient safety, equipment tracking, and hand hygiene in hospitals. The system collects data from badges and sensors and feeds it into integrated applications—Nursing Insights, Asset Tracking, and Hand Hygiene—that hospitals use to watch patient safety, locate equipment, and monitor hand hygiene compliance. Unlike solutions that require multiple separate tools, SwipeSense combines these functions into one platform, lowering costs and simplifying IT needs for hospitals. The goal is to help hospitals improve patient outcomes and experience (e.g., fewer falls and better HCAHPS scores), boost operational efficiency, and reduce total cost of care by providing data-driven insights and streamlined workflows.
