System1 Introduced Dogpile Fetch, a new Search MCP Server from the Groundbreaking Metasearch Engine, giving AI agents a Wider view of the Web. Published: 27 Jul 2026 On 23 July 2026, System1 introduces the Dogpile Fetch MCP Server, allowing AI agents to perform wider web searches and access real-time information. This launch intelligently discovers multiple sources, makes better decisions, and advances AI-driven search and enterprise automation solutions. System1 launched Dogpile Fetch, a Model Context Protocol Server based on its metasearch engine, Dogpile. The MCP server integrates Dogpile's search infrastructure within the MCP ecosystem, supporting AI-driven online activities and improving interactions with live web content. This platform allows AI agents to access web data through a unified interface that combines results from multiple sources for research, analysis, and automation. As AI agents increasingly handle customer service, research, and robotics in real time on the web. Companies and developers can use Dogpile Fetch to enable research tools, chatbots, and automation systems to access broader web knowledge in real time, accelerating accuracy, reliability, and context. This launch positions System1 to grow in the AI infrastructure market, renewing Dogpile's legacy with a modern platform for next-generation AI assistants. Additionally, Dogpile Fetch exemplifies the transition from human browsing to machine retrieval, optimized for autonomous systems by promoting industry-standard AI communication protocols for secure external connections. Impact on the artificial intelligence infrastructure sector. The global artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure market size accounted for USD 72.02 billion in 2025 and is predicted to increase from USD 91.21 billion in 2026 to approximately USD 518.26 billion by 2035, expanding at a CAGR of 21.82% from 2026 to 2035. According to Precedence Research, AI increasingly relies on external sources for research, automation, and decision-making. Dogpile Fetch enhances AI by providing reliable web data access by recovering information from numerous search providers through a unified MCP server, improving comprehension, and reducing dependence on individual indexes. This drives innovation in AI, smart search, retrieval-augmented generation, and self-governing systems, helping create a connected AI ecosystem. This supports advanced AI assistants, enterprise copilots, and automation, facilitating standardized integration and scalability. As AI is integrated into agent-based computing, real-time data retrieval, such as Dogpile Fetch, improves knowledge access and response accuracy and enables dynamic online engagement. Impact on the AI search engine sector. The global AI search engine market size accounted for USD 16.30 billion in 2025 and is predicted to increase from USD 20.75 billion in 2026 to approximately USD 182.17 billion by 2035, expanding at a CAGR of 27.30% from 2026 to 2035. According to Precedence Research, the rising demand for AI agents requires platforms that deliver structured, machine-readable, context-rich data, where Dogpile Fetch targets to revolutionize search by expanding into AI-native recovery. This approach cuts reliance on individual search ecosystems and fosters digital integration. By integrating Dogpile's metasearch into an MCP-compatible server, System1 enhances its search infrastructure by supporting an autonomous AI ecosystem. Dogpile Fetch revives metasearch relevance in an AI-driven infrastructure where autonomous software performs searches, encouraging innovation in the search engine sector, creating new opportunities for digital knowledge and AI solutions. Publishers and data aggregators may develop AI-friendly interfaces integrated with intelligent applications by combining data from multiple sources to enhance coverage, diversity, and completeness. Impact on the enterprise software sector. The global enterprise software market size accounted for USD 280.49 billion in 2025 and is projected to hit around USD 313.42 billion by 2025, and is anticipated to reach around USD 851.15 billion by 2035, expanding at a CAGR of 11.74% from 2025 to 2035. According to Precedence Research, growing integration of AI for research and trend spotting improves efficiency and decision-making. The enterprise software sector can benefit from Dogpile Fetch as organizations embed AI agents into operations, align with MCP integration to simplify deployment, and reduce complexity. Modern companies rely on intelligent assistants for market research, customer service, and data summarization. As Dogpile Fetch demonstrates, advanced search elevates business intelligence and fosters innovation, allowing smarter, highly adaptable, and data-driven operations. Their success depends on accessing accurate, timely information. Dogpile Fetch provides broader web insights through metasearch, enabling AI tools to improve recommendations. Major sectors include finance, consulting, healthcare, legal, education, and technology, which support digital transformation by enabling better enterprise copilots and automation. Expert opinion. From the expert's perspective, System1's Dogpile Fetch advances search tech by modifying AI from passive models to autonomous agents that engage a live digital ecosystem. This benefits enterprise AI by enhancing productivity and decision-making. Dogpile Fetch targets AI systems that need diverse, up-to-date knowledge for complex research and automation, to improve responses, and on a single search platform. Built on Dogpile's metasearch foundation, the Model Context Protocol highlights interoperability, real-time data, and standard communication. As AI infrastructure's competitive edge grows, System1 must enhance Dogpile Fetch's scalability, tools, and compliance with regulatory standards. Success depends on data quality, privacy, source transparency, and performance. If this strategy is successful, it could redefine search engines into intelligent knowledge services optimized for autonomous operation, transforming future AI applications and enterprise solutions.
System1 has launched Dogpile Fetch, a web search API and MCP server designed for AI agents. The tool, built under the Dogpile brand — a metasearch engine operating since 1996 — installs in under two minutes in Claude Code, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible client. New research from Dogpile found that single search indexes surface only about half of available results compared to what multiple indexes collectively find. The company analysed seven popular search APIs and discovered AI agents take limited results and generate answers without recognising gaps. Dogpile Fetch addresses this by routing queries to optimal backends automatically, returning ranked results, knowledge graph data, and related questions. A Deep mode breaks complex queries into multiple searches and removes duplicates. Pricing starts at $2 per 1,000 calls, with free monthly credits available.
