Overview

TMS is a global professional organization for materials science and engineering, covering everything from minerals processing to advanced materials applications. It connects metallurgical and materials engineers, scientists, educators, and administrators across more than 70 countries, totaling over 11,000 members. It provides resources, events, publications, networking, and standards support to help members learn, share findings, advance careers, and collaborate across the materials supply chain. Its goal is to advance the science and engineering of materials by fostering collaboration, education, and the transfer of knowledge and standards to industry, academia, and government.
