TOPdesk receives TrustRadius Tech Cares Award for the 7th consecutive year. 09 September 2026 Delft - TrustRadius, an HG Insights company, has named TOPdesk a winner of the 2026 Tech Cares Award. It's TOPdesk's seventh consecutive win since the award launched in 2020. The award recognizes companies that put people, the planet, and ethics at the center of how they operate, backed by concrete programs and results. Sustainability has been a particular focus this year. TOPdesk now tracks its full carbon footprint, totalling 11,172 tCO[2]e, and in May submitted near-term and long-term science-based targets to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). In June, TOPdesk received its first EcoVadis rating, Bronze, and has since introduced a roadmap to improve its score over the coming year. TOPdesk also got ahead of the EU AI Act this year, running risk assessments across its AI tools, building internal governance policy, and setting up a dedicated AI Policy Group. TOPdesk continues its partnerships with JINC and Werkse, supporting youth mentoring and labor market participation respectively.
TOPdesk drives more growth with customer-focused product innovation. 04 September 2026 Years of sustained growth and recent industry recognition from Gartner(R) come as TOPdesk prepares to share its product direction at the upcoming Unlocked event. London, UK - August 2026 - TOPdesk, a global provider of IT service management solutions, is set to unveil its latest product news at Unlocked, its flagship event on September 16 in the Dutch city of Utrecht. The new launches will build on the success of TOPdesk's latest AI-enabled features, reflecting the company's focus on real-world service management innovation that meets the evolving needs of service teams in IT, Facilities, and HR at mid-sized organizations. The company has also been recognized in the *2026 Gartner(R) Magic Quadrant(TM) for IT Service Management Platforms. "This is an important milestone and comes on the heels of 36 months of increased customer demand when we've been shipping at pace. But we're not pausing to celebrate - it just makes us want to keep building," said Wolter Smit, CEO and co-founder of TOPdesk. "Our customers have been telling us they want a platform made for their team, not an overly complex enterprise suite or a basic tool that breaks the moment they outgrow it." "We believe that focus is reflected in this Gartner recognition, and it is pushing us to move faster." The new vision and product direction will be unveiled at Unlocked, where leaders in service management can explore practical implementation of AI and real-world strategies and hear customer success stories. Smit said the company's latest AI-powered releases are shaped by what customers actually need, not by trends in the technology sector. They address the problems of ever-lengthening ticket queues and knowledge bases nobody has time to keep current. These new features have resonated well in manufacturing, where IT teams in mid-sized businesses have to work across multiple sites. They have also been successful in the public sector, where small teams must manage the complexity of compliance and data residence requirements. That kind of traction across such different industries is what's driven years of consecutive growth for TOPdesk. These AI capabilities are part of TOPdesk's continuing investment in continuous release that has helped to make its products such a major hit with IT, Facilities, and HR teams at mid-sized organizations. Smit added: "Recognition from Gartner is a good signal but the real proof is what customers do with the product every day - and that's what the September event is about." TOPdesk bolsters AI-driven innovation with the appointment of new CTO Yann Cluchey. 04 June 2026 Delft - Service management software provider TOPdesk has appointed Yann Cluchey (44) as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with effect from 1 May. In this role, Cluchey is responsible for the further development of TOPdesk's technology strategy, with a strong focus on AI-driven innovation, modernising the technology platform and optimising product development. From software engineer to technology leader. Cluchey began his career as a software engineer and that passion has stayed with him ever since. Building on that technical foundation, he progressed to various leadership roles within both fast-growing start-ups and large international organisations such as Cogenta and Corsearch. He now has nearly seventeen years' experience as a CTO, having spent the last few years working on complex modernisation projects, cloud migrations and scaling up technology and innovation. At TOPdesk, Cluchey's focus will be on three key priorities, with AI serving as the common thread: * Accelerate AI-driven innovation: for both product development and internal productivity, with a focus on predictive and proactive automated workflows. * Modernising the technology platform: reducing complexity through a step-by-step approach and making room for AI functionalities. * Supporting technology teams: simplifying processes and optimising workflows so that engineers can move from idea to product more quickly. A company on the move. Yann Cluchey: "The speed at which AI is developing is creating a unique opportunity to take a fundamentally different look at its services. What attracted me to TOPdesk was their ambition. They ask the right questions, have already invested in AI, and even the CEO himself writes code using Claude. Every level of the organisation is on board. Combine that energy with the curiosity and technical passion I see in the teams, and you have the perfect foundation to take service management to the next level. I am incredibly excited to be able to play a part in that." Wolter Smit, CEO of TOPdesk: "What TOPdesk needs is someone who understands the momentum of this AI transformation and can capitalise on it right now. We have found that person in Yann. He has extensive experience in modernising technology platforms and accelerating growth within international organisations. He brings with him a combination of in-depth technical knowledge, international experience and a strong vision for innovation. We are incredibly excited to use his expertise to further develop our technology and AI strategies."
TOPdesk appoints Raymond Hüner as SVP Global Sales. 12 March 2026 TOPdesk has appointed Raymond Hüner as Senior Vice President (SVP) Global Sales. In this role, he will be responsible for strengthening its global go-to-market strategy and accelerating international growth. This appointment marks an important step in its ambition to evolve from a strong international player into a true global growth engine in service management. Building a high-performance global sales organization. Raymond will lead the further development of TOPdesk's international sales organization, consisting of 150 professionals worldwide. His focus will be on building a high-performance organization where standardization, clear structures, and strong collaboration across regions are central. Scaling globally requires more than replication. A successful go-to-market strategy cannot simply be copied from one country to another - each market demands its own approach. Striking the right balance between global consistency and local relevance will be key in the next phase of growth. 25+ years of international sales and SaaS leadership. Raymond brings over 25 years of experience in international sales and building high-performing teams. Throughout his career, he has held leadership roles at global technology companies including IBM and HP, alongside extensive experience in SaaS. At Freshworks, he served as General Manager Europe for 3.5 years, where he built the European go-to-market strategy from the ground up. Most recently, he spent three years as SVP Head of Regions at fintech company Pleo, leading the continued growth of the European organization. At TOPdesk, he now applies this expertise on a global scale. "TOPdesk's people-first mindset really resonates with me." "TOPdesk is a strong organization with a clear mission, solid strategy, and long-term vision," says Raymond Hüner. "Its people-first mindset really resonates with me. When you put employees first, it ultimately translates into better service for customers. With the company entering its next growth phase, I look forward to working with the team to shape a powerful global sales strategy." Ready for the next phase of international growth. Wolter Smit, CEO of TOPdesk, comments: "Over the past years, we have built a strong customer base and valuable partnerships across Europe. Now is the time to take the next step and further shape the future of service management beyond Europe. With Raymond joining us, we welcome an experienced international sales leader who knows what it takes to scale globally and position TOPdesk as a leading player worldwide."
