Lululemon to enter Hungary as part of 2026 int'l expansion. Athletic and lifestyle apparel brand lululemon is set to enter the Hungarian market in 2026 as part of a broader international expansion through a new franchise partnership model. Hungary will be among six countries where the brand plans to open stores next year, alongside Greece, Austria, Poland, and Romania, in cooperation with the Arion Retail Group. Lululemon will also debut in India through its previously announced partnership with Tata CLiQ. The brand's product portfolio is designed to support a wide range of physical activities - from yoga and running to training, tennis and golf - while combining technical functionality with a strong lifestyle focus. In parallel with the opening of physical stores, customers in Hungary will also gain access to the company's full product range online via the lululemon.eu website. The company said details on the exact launch date will be announced at a later stage. "As we continue to see strong demand for lululemon globally, we will enter six new countries in 2026," said Sarah Clark, senior vice president for the EMEA region at lululemon. "Each of these markets represents an exciting opportunity for our brand, and we look forward to working with our franchise partners to bring our innovative products and inspiring retail experiences to even more guests." Community at the core. Lululemon said community building will remain central to its market entry strategy. The brand plans to deepen engagement with customers through its ambassador network and local community events focused on movement and well-being. According to the company, the community-centered model goes beyond a traditional retail strategy, aiming instead to foster genuine connections and everyday inspiration around movement and active lifestyles. The brand is currently present in more than 30 markets worldwide and continues to grow its customer base across North America, the EMEA region, the Asia-Pacific region, and China. The newly announced market entries mark another milestone in lululemon's international expansion, following its entry into Italy earlier this summer and recent franchise-based openings in Denmark, Turkey, and Belgium.
