Overview

The Carroll School provides specialized, individualized education for students in grades 1–9 with language-based learning differences at three Massachusetts campuses. Its program uses a diagnostic-prescriptive curriculum with Orton-Gillingham multisensory literacy instruction across all subjects, plus a proprietary Targeted Cognitive Intervention that strengthens processing speed, working memory, and executive function. The school differentiates itself through in-house cognitive intervention, significant need-based financial aid, and educator-training programs like the Garside Institute for Teacher Training and the Angela Wilkins Program. Its goal is to help students who learn differently achieve academic success and to train educators in evidence-based approaches.
