Thriveworks provides mental health care through licensed therapists and psychiatric providers, offering in-person and online therapy for children, teens, couples, and individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, and stress. Clients access care by scheduling sessions, with Thriveworks handling administrative tasks such as billing, credentialing, and scheduling, and accepting most major insurance plans. The service works by matching clients with clinicians for therapy or psychiatric care and processing insurance reimbursements or direct payments from clients. Unlike some providers that require clients to handle much of the logistics themselves, Thriveworks centralizes administrative work so clinicians can focus on delivering care. Its goal is to improve access to mental health services for a broad population by making care more convenient and payable through insurance networks and direct payments, aiming to serve millions of Americans.

Thriveworks partners with Ardent Health to integrate behavioral health across its multi-state health system. Integrated Model Expands Access to Mental Health Services To Support Whole-Person Care New York, NY, 3 February, 2026: Thriveworks, a leading provider of talk therapy and psychiatry services nationwide, today announced a partnership with Ardent Health to integrate high-quality behavioral health services directly into the health system's care delivery model, integrating within existing EMR systems and clinical workflows across Kansas, Texas, New Jersey, New Mexico, Idaho, and Oklahoma. The partnership will provide Ardent Health providers and patients with seamless access to therapy and psychiatry services delivered by Thriveworks clinicians, a uniquely coordinated model that supports continuity of care, cross-clinical communication, and improved outcomes. This move follows Ardent's commitment to expand access to critical mental health services for the communities they care for. Meanwhile, Thriveworks' 2025 Pulse on Mental Health report found that 18% of Americans are turning to medical professionals such as primary care physicians for mental health support, underscoring the growing role of health systems in identifying and addressing behavioral health concerns. The same research found that 93% of Americans see a link between mental and physical health, with 44% saying the two are completely intertwined and 49% saying they are sometimes connected, reinforcing the need for integrated models that treat the whole person, not isolated conditions. Through the partnership, patients can access in-person or virtual care to suit their specific needs while providers benefit from smooth handoffs, timely feedback, and bi-directional communication that supports continuity of care and improved overall health outcomes without adding operational burden. Dr. Dan Frogel, CEO of Thriveworks, said, "Primary care and hospital settings have become the front door to mental health care, making behavioral integration essential. By partnering with Ardent Health, Thriveworks will serve as a trusted extension of the care team, embedding evidence-based behavioral health services directly into its operations. This is part of a growing network of health system collaborations Thriveworks is driving to deliver integrated, scalable behavioral health solutions that go beyond access to drive high-impact care and improve physical health outcomes." Ethan Chernin, president of health services at Ardent, said: "This partnership recognizes the imperative of mental health services as part of an overall care plan. Thriveworks' clinically-led team deeply understands patient and provider needs, and has developed a truly integrated model that is both seamless and effective. We're proud to partner with them to ensure patients get the right care, at the right time."
