Coretek's AI-driven insights transform payment orchestration at Transcard. The payment solutions firm partnered with the Microsoft AI Cloud provider to unlock new value for clients By Jacqui Griffiths | 08 July 2026 Transcard is a provider of embedded payment solutions that streamline transactions between buyers and suppliers. As part of its innovation strategy, the company wanted to evolve its platform from simply processing payments to delivering AI-powered insights. Several challenges emerged. Transcard required a platform that could evaluate key characteristics - such as industry, transaction size and supplier payment behaviours - to recommend tailored financing options. Advanced AI models were needed to analyse large amounts of financial data. It was important that insights would surface naturally within Transcard's Insight Tab, without disrupting existing workflows. Additionally, the solution had to combine enterprise-grade security with the scalability to support rapid growth and future AI use cases. Transcard engaged Coretek to design and implement an AI-driven foundation on Microsoft Azure, combining advanced data services, APIs and intelligent recommendations. Coretek migrated the company's financial data into Microsoft Fabric, enabling advanced analytics and AI readiness. To enable AI-driven insights, it developed models that analyse buyer and supplier profiles to recommend solutions like buy now, pay later. A frictionless user experience was achieved by exposing insights through APIs that embed recommendations directly into the Insight Tab. A secure architecture, built on Azure's compliance and governance features, ensures financial data remains safe while supporting growth. "Coretek helped us solve a real problem," says Jeff Kaufman, executive vice president of AI and data insights at Transcard. "Embedding AI-driven recommendations directly into our platform creates real value for our end customers and strengthens the experience we deliver." The partnership has established a new foundation for AI in trade finance, embedding intelligence directly into the platform and transforming payments into a source of strategic insight. Transcard's buyers and suppliers now receive context-aware insights that improve cash flow and financing outcomes. Embedded AI also enhances the customer experience, providing faster, more personalised guidance without adding complexity so customers can make smarter financing decisions in real time - whether extending payment terms, optimising cash flow or strengthening supplier relationships. Future growth is also supported by the secure, scalable Azure architecture. It gives Transcard the flexibility to expand AI-driven services across its customer base and continue co-innovating with Coretek and Microsoft to deliver even greater value.
