Trial Library

Enrollment facilitation for oncology trials

Overview

Trial Library helps healthcare providers and patients improve access to oncology clinical trials. Its Ally Navigators support patients through every step of the trial journey—from awareness and education to trial matching and eligibility screening—combining automation with human guidance to ensure culturally competent care. The company curates lists of sponsored trials for providers, offering paid pre-screening services and last-mile navigation support for patients. Its evidence-based model uses a Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) framework to address barriers to participation and promote equity in cancer outcomes. The goal is to broaden trial participation and improve cancer outcomes by making enrollment easier, more accurate, and more inclusive.

We've Raised $10 Million to Expand Access to Clinical Trials as a Care Option

Trial Library, Inc. has raised $10 million to expand access to clinical trials as a care option. Trial Library, Inc. is excited to share that Trial Library has raised $10 million in Series A funding, co-led by Next Ventures and SemperVirens Venture Capital, with participation from Sanofi Ventures, Lux Capital, Civilization Ventures, Overwater Ventures, How Women Invest and others. This investment accelerates its mission to make clinical research a core part of standard care - bridging access gaps for patients, empowering healthcare providers, and creating a more efficient and equitable research ecosystem. Why this matters. As its CEO and founder Dr. Hala Borno puts it: "As a physician-scientist, I witnessed first-hand the significant impact clinical trials have on improved healthcare outcomes. At Trial Library, we're building the connective tissue that links care delivery and clinical research. This Series A will enable us to advance our model where access to innovation is the standard - not the exception." The reality is that 85% of cancer patients receive care in community settings, yet access to clinical trials has historically been concentrated in academic medical centers. Trial Library, Inc. is changing that. What Trial Library, Inc. is building. Its AI-enabled platform unlocks access to clinical trials in community-based clinical settings through provider activation, compliant patient identification, and longitudinal navigation throughout the trial lifecycle. Trial Library, Inc. currently work across 320+ clinics and 1,500+ providers nationwide, and Trial Library, Inc. is rapidly expanding its network alongside growing partnerships with payers including self-insured plans and health plans. Lance Armstrong, Managing Partner at NEXT Ventures, noted: "Trial Library's approach aligns with the growing shift toward decentralized, community-based research. They're proving that AI and human navigation together can bring precision medicine to every corner of healthcare." Trial Library, Inc. is the first platform to unlock the payer market for clinical trial access, aligning incentives across patients, providers, payers, and life-science partners. Allison Baum Gates, General Partner at SemperVirens Venture Capital, shared: "We're excited to back a platform that aligns incentives and unites patients, providers, payers, and life-science partners around shared cost-savings and patient outcomes." Trial Library, Inc. has also partnered with leading global biopharmaceutical manufacturers to accelerate R&D and enrollment. Cris De Luca, Partner at Sanofi Ventures, said: "Trial Library is a uniquely end-to-end platform, building the infrastructure that will accelerate access to the next generation of precision medicine." What's next. This funding will help Trial Library, Inc. expand its network, deepen its partnerships, and continue building the infrastructure that makes clinical trials accessible as a standard care option. Trial Library, Inc. is grateful to its investors, partners, and the providers and patients who trust Trial Library, Inc. with this important work.
