July 24, 2025: Sunlight Group, the Greece-based lead and lithium battery manufacturer, has appointed Matthias Fischer as its new chairman.
Concurrently, Germany's Lehmann Marine, in collaboration with Greece's Sunlight Group, has introduced the AQUBE battery system - a compact and modular LFP solution featuring continuous 2C charge/discharge capability and advanced water-cooling.
April 10, 2025: Greece-based Sunlight Group is teaming up with the country's University of Thessaly in a project that will use artificial intelligence in the development of next generation batteries.
As part of this initiative, Sunlight Group has agreed to divest from Voltabox AG, while it plans to and acquire Voltamobil, a company specializing in high-voltage battery solutions, strengthening its position in the energy storage market.
The French deal comes just over a year after Sunlight acquired 100% ownership of Triathlon in Germany.
