Trying Together is a Southwestern Pennsylvania nonprofit that supports high-quality early childhood care and education for children, families, and educators. It delivers programs through family centers and educator training, including the Developmentally Appropriate Parenting series and the Institute for Early Childhood Career Pathways, funded by gifts, grants, and sponsorships. It also serves as a quality partner for ELRC Region 5 and advocates for public policy to raise wages and invest in early learning. Its goal is to raise early childhood education quality, expand family access to resources, strengthen the workforce, and sustain improvements through policy change.
