Twin Labs

Autonomous AI agent for task automation

Overview

Twin Labs is building AI agents that observe a user’s screen activity to learn tasks and then perform those tasks automatically. The product works by watching how a user interacts with applications, learning the sequence of actions, and then running those steps on its own as a software-as-a-service. This approach goes beyond simple automation by trying to learn and adapt to multi-step tasks across different programs, making the agent capable of handling changing workflows. The company differentiates itself with a learning-based, adaptive approach and the idea of a “digital twin” that can imitate human actions on a computer, supported by a strong research-backed team and early backing from AI-focused investors. Its goal is to provide a practical tool that lets individuals and enterprises automate complex computer tasks through an AI twin that learns from user behavior and then executes tasks autonomously.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • January 27, 2026 launch followed a beta with 100,000 autonomous agents.
  • Twin's July 2026 library growth to 200 agents signals strong product-led adoption.
  • LocalGlobe's $10M seed and 2024 €2.8M pre-seed fund runway through 2026.

What critics are saying

  • OpenAI, Anthropic, Microsoft, and Google can bundle competing agents into suites.
  • One broken autonomous action destroys trust; enterprise buyers punish failures immediately.
  • No public revenue, enterprise logos, or layoffs disclosures prove durable demand yet.

What makes Twin Labs unique

  • Twin sells autonomous operators, not copilots or chat assistants.
  • Cloud-first orchestration centralizes integrations, retries, and scaling for complex workflows.
  • July 2026 shows 200 community agents, creating workflow-specific distribution.

Twin raises a $10M seed round to launch the first AI company builder. 🧠🤖 AI is already writing code but most businesses run on operations: sales, support, finance, logistics. Twin lets anyone launch autonomous agents to run these workflows, no code needed. In 1 month of beta, users launched 100,000+ agents. Some ran full businesses. Twin agents handle integrations, fix errors, remember context, and complete 150+ tasks for under $1 ; all in the cloud. ⚡️ A huge round of applause to Hugo Mercier, Joao Justi, and the founding team for what’s been accomplished so far. 🙌 We’re thrilled to be part of this journey alongside LocalGlobe, who leads the round, Kima Ventures, Irregular Expressions, Andrena Ventures and historical investors like betaworks and Motier Ventures. 👊 #AI #Automation #Agents | 28 comments on LinkedIn

Twin Labs raises $10M to launch no-code AI agents that work autonomously, not just assist

Twin Labs, a Paris-based startup, has launched a no-code AI agent platform and secured $10 million in seed funding led by LocalGlobe. The company positions its AI as autonomous operators rather than assistants, enabling users to describe tasks in plain English whilst agents run continuously in the background. During beta testing, users deployed over 142,000 agents across sales operations, administration, document handling and finance. Twin's cloud-first architecture handles integrations, retries and scaling centrally, distinguishing it from competitors that require more hands-on configuration. The platform represents a shift from AI assistance towards full autonomy, with agents designed to operate as business infrastructure rather than supervised tools. This approach reflects growing demand for AI systems that take ownership of work rather than merely supporting it.
