Unissant has launched Unissant MissionWORKS, a system designed to convert innovation into reusable capabilities for US federal agencies. The platform uses a closed-loop innovation process to build accelerators that deliver proven components, enabling rapid deployment tailored to specific mission objectives. The MissionWORKS portfolio includes accelerator foundations for AI deployment, reusable components for delivery patterns, and technology partner collaborations. According to the company, the system has reduced application onboarding time from months to weeks whilst maintaining governance and oversight. Alka Bhave, Unissant's COO and General Manager of National Security, said the platform addresses challenges in scaling innovation beyond disconnected pilots. The system is currently available to federal agencies through the DoW SOCOM VULCAN Marketplace, following deployment across active customer environments.
Unissant has appointed Shaun Swartz as Vice President of Defense to lead the company's Department of War growth strategy and expand support for defence mission organisations. Swartz, an Air Force Academy graduate with previous senior roles at Red Cedar Consultancy, SAIC and SOSI, brings military experience and defence sector leadership to the position. He will focus on advancing Unissant's defence growth strategy, strengthening partnerships and helping customers scale advanced capabilities from pilot programmes to enterprise deployment. The appointment comes as Unissant continues to scale its national security portfolio. The company works with federal agencies across national security and federal health, combining mission expertise with data and AI to deliver operational capabilities in complex environments.
