United Franchise Group acquires full ownership of Transworld Business Advisors

United Franchise Group has acquired full ownership of Transworld Business Advisors, the world's largest business brokerage organisation with over 200 offices and 1,000 agents globally. TBA originally joined UFG's brand portfolio in 2010. "This exciting acquisition makes both United Franchise Group and Transworld Business Advisors stronger than ever," said Ray Titus, UFG's chairman and CEO. The company plans to accelerate franchise expansion both domestically and internationally. As part of the acquisition, former TBA CEO Andy Cagnetta will focus on leading the Fort Lauderdale franchise location, the network's largest. Jim Tatem will continue as TBA president, a role he has held since 2024. UFG operates over 1,800 franchises across more than 80 countries, with a portfolio including Signarama, Fully Promoted and various food concepts.
