Its tagline is not just a phrase; it is its operational promise: Dream BIG... TAP into LLC'll Help You Get There! This commitment was on full display on August 19 and 20, 2026, during its annual September Packet Pickup event and two-day vision clinic. September Packet Pickup began more than a decade ago as a targeted effort for the Primary School. In August 2015, it expanded into a comprehensive district-wide initiative. Hosted in the Red Bank Middle School Gymnasium, this year's event featured two sessions, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., to accommodate working families. Its community's response was unprecedented, with 87% of families attending the event. According to Dr. Jared J. Rumage, Superintendent: "There are so many reasons to be proud of how our district supports Red Bank families, but this event is always one of my favorites. It perfectly captures who we are and what we do as an organization dedicated to serving our community. People often view late August as the end of summer on the Jersey Shore, but looking out at the incredible turnout and seeing the excitement on our students' faces as they came back into our schools, it felt like a celebration from start to finish." Event Highlights & resources distributed. - Administrators, school counselors, and school nurses welcomed families and provided essential back-to-school information. - Teacher leaders, office staff, and technology team members provided hands-on assistance with the Genesis Parent Portal and ParentSquare, helping families stay connected to academic updates and district communications. - Families toured a large distribution area featuring books, school uniforms, and academic supplies. Every family also received a reusable Red Bank tote bag and frisbee. - Through its partnership with Parker Family Health Center, 250 pairs of shoes were distributed to families. Vision clinic expands access to Care. On August 19 and 20, the Red Bank Middle School Cafeteria was transformed into a full-service mobile vision clinic through a partnership among Parker Family Health Center, the Vision Service Plan (VSP) Eyes of Hope Program, and Red Bank Public Schools. According to Suzy Dyer, Esq., CHC, Executive Director of Parker Family Health Center: "It is a privilege to do this work in such a wonderful community. Thank you to VSP, Trinity Church in Asbury Park and the Red Bank Borough Public Schools for being such awesome partners." Highlights included: - Nearly 200 students and parents received free vision screenings and custom prescription eyeglasses produced on-site. - Monmouth County Commissioner Director Thomas Arnone and Commissioner Sue Kiley toured the clinic and praised the district's efforts to prepare students physically and academically for the school year. - The district is actively supporting Parker Family Health Center in securing funding to bring the program back next summer. - Special thanks to the Parker Family Health Center team whose efforts made the clinic possible, including Suzy R. Dyer (Executive Director), Dr. Roheena Malik (recipient of the Dr. Stephanie Kirschbaum Living in Purpose Award), Ana Taylor, and Jeanne Wagner. Community partners share their praise. Feedback from participating organizations underscored the impact of the district's community-centered approach: "Thank you so much for having us. It was a great time meeting the families, and we got to hand out lots of school supplies left over from our backpack giveaway!" "Thank you so much for having us! It was a pleasure to connect with the families of Red Bank." "Awesome numbers! I had a lot of fun. Here's to a great school year ahead!" "Thank you both for inviting us to talk to your families. Understanding vision therapy software needs.

Understanding vision therapy software needs. When evaluating vision therapy software, consider the following essential functionalities: * Session Documentation: The ability to document therapy sessions accurately is vital for tracking patient progress and ensuring compliance with treatment protocols. * Activity Tracking: Effective software should allow for detailed tracking of therapy activities, enabling practitioners to assess patient engagement and outcomes. * Progress Monitoring: A robust system should facilitate monitoring progress across multiple visits, providing insights into patient improvement over time. * Referral Correspondence: Efficient communication with referring providers is essential for coordinated care, making integrated messaging features a valuable asset. Comparing IrisMed and Infinite VT. When considering your options, IrisMed and Infinite VT are two notable players in the vision therapy software market. Here's how they compare across several critical dimensions: 1. Pricing structure. IrisMed offers an all-inclusive, quote-based pricing model tailored to the specific needs of your practice. This approach eliminates per-module or per-user fees, making it a transparent choice for independent optometry practices. In contrast, Infinite VT's pricing structure may not provide the same level of clarity, which can lead to unexpected costs as your practice grows. 2. Integration capabilities. IrisMed stands out with its direct integration with major insurance providers like VSP and EyeMed, facilitating smoother claim processing. This integration is complemented by automated ERA posting and real-time eligibility verification, which can significantly reduce administrative burdens. While Infinite VT offers some integration options, the depth and efficiency of IrisMed's capabilities are designed specifically for the needs of eye care practices. 3. Development and support. A key differentiator for IrisMed is its commitment to ongoing development. With an active, visible roadmap, practices can expect regular feature updates that enhance functionality. Features such as AI scribe in active testing and custom builds for practice-specific workflows demonstrate IrisMed's dedication to meeting the evolving needs of optometry practices. In contrast, while Infinite VT may provide standard features, the pace of innovation may not match the velocity that IrisMed offers. 4. Onboarding and training. IrisMed provides dedicated onboarding support to ensure that practices can transition smoothly to their new system. This support is crucial for maximizing the software's potential and minimizing disruptions to practice operations. While Infinite VT may offer training resources, the level of personalized support seen with IrisMed can make a significant difference in the early stages of implementation. Real-World impact: ROI and efficiency. Practices using IrisMed typically report a 10x return on investment due to increased efficiency and streamlined workflows. The software's ability to process claims four times faster than manual entry can lead to quicker reimbursements and improved cash flow. This efficiency is particularly beneficial for independent practices that often operate with limited resources. In contrast, while Infinite VT may offer a range of functionalities, the concrete evidence of ROI and efficiency improvements may not be as compelling. Optometry practice owners should carefully consider the long-term financial implications of their software choice. Conclusion: making the right choice. Selecting the right vision therapy software is a significant decision that can impact the efficiency and success of your practice. While both IrisMed and Infinite VT offer solutions for managing vision therapy, IrisMed emerges as the best fit for independent optometry practices. Its transparent pricing, robust integration capabilities, commitment to ongoing development, and dedicated support make it a strong choice for practices prioritizing efficiency and patient care. As you evaluate your options, remember to ask your vendor what shipped in the last 12 months and what ships in the next 6. Then ask IrisMed, Inc.. This approach will help you gauge the commitment of your software provider to continuous improvement and innovation. Vision Coverage After Retirement (2026): VSP Vision Care named leading option for post-employer plans by Expert Consumers.

Vision Coverage After Retirement (2026): VSP Vision Care named leading option for post-employer plans by Expert Consumers. PR Newswire Today at 2:00am PDT NEW YORK, May 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - Vision coverage after retirement is becoming a more defined part of healthcare planning in 2026, with VSP(R) Individual Vision Plans named a leading option for post-employer vision plans based on its structure, network access, and approach to cost predictability. As employer-based coverage becomes less available, retirees are exploring options to ensure continued access to routine eye care. Vision Coverage After Retirement * VSP Individual Vision Plans - a vision insurance provider offering post-employer plans that cover eye exams, eyewear, and access to a nationwide network of eye care professionals Eye health plays a long-term role in overall wellness, especially for older adults managing age-related conditions or monitoring changes in vision. This has brought more attention to plans that offer reliable access to eye exams, corrective lenses, and established provider networks beyond employer-based coverage. Greater interest in post-employer vision care is changing how retirees review their options as they prioritize access, cost management, and continuity. What Retirees Look For Vision coverage after retirement is no longer limited to basic discount programs. Many retirees are prioritizing plans that offer full-service coverage with clear cost expectations. Common features retirees are considering include coverage for annual eye exams with a set copay, access to a wide network of eye doctors, benefits for glasses or contact lenses, and flexible benefit use options across in-office, retail, and online settings. These elements are influencing how individuals compare plans and make decisions about ongoing eye care after leaving the workforce. VSP Individual Vision Plans VSP Individual Vision Plans are structured around full-service coverage that extends beyond basic discounts. Plans typically include annual eye exams covered after a copay, along with allowances for prescription eyewear. Another advantage of VSP Individual Vision Plans' model is provider access. Members can continue seeing their preferred eye doctor if they are part of the network or choose from a large selection of providers nationwide. This can be an important factor for retirees who value established care relationships. Coverage is also designed for flexibility. Members can use their benefits at a doctor's office, through retail locations, or via online platforms, providing multiple ways to use their benefits depending on preference and convenience. Plan Features for Retirees VSP's plans include features that are frequently mentioned in evaluations of vision coverage after retirement: * Immediate access to benefits with no waiting period after enrollment * Predictable out-of-pocket costs for routine services * Annual exam coverage following a copay structure * Eyewear allowances for glasses or contact lenses * A nationwide provider network with options to retain an existing VSP Doctor * A satisfaction guarantee that lets members use and assess the plan with confidence These features support a more organized way to manage vision care costs during retirement. Access Beyond Employer Plans As more individuals take on supplemental coverage themselves, vision coverage after retirement is a common part of planning. With longer retirement periods and ongoing healthcare needs, access to routine eye care is a practical consideration rather than an occasional expense. Plans with service coverage, network access, and clear pricing are popular among retirees comparing available options. Being able to begin using benefits immediately and access care through multiple channels adds another layer of convenience. Retirement Planning in 2026 Vision coverage after retirement is an important part of planning for long-term health needs. As retirees evaluate available options, factors such as provider access, cost structure, and usability are now crucial in decision-making. Named a leading choice for post-employer plans, VSP Individual Vision Plans provides retirees with full-service access to eye exams and eyewear. This coverage helps retirees maintain regular eye care while keeping costs predictable. About VSP Vision Care VSP Vision Care provides members access to, affordable eye care and eyewear through thousands of network providers. As the only national not-for-profit company in vision care, Blue Mountain Eagle reinvest its profits back into the communities Blue Mountain Eagle serve so that everyone can enjoy a lifetime of well-being.
