Ransom brings nearly two decades of experience in government service, private practice and industry, with expertise in defence acquisition and emerging technology. Ransom joins from Crowell & Moring, where he was a partner advising defence contractors and venture-backed defence companies. He previously helped launch Scale AI's defence business as its first in-house counsel for Public Sector and spent over a decade at the Government Accountability Office's Bid Protest Division. In his role, Ransom will lead legal functions, government contracting strategy and compliance programmes.
