Range is continuing its commitment to connecting rural communities with the announcement of a new fiber infrastructure project in southeast Crook County and northeast Weston County. Construction is scheduled to begin June 8, with crews installing approximately 50 miles of fiber. Once completed, the project will provide high-speed internet access to approximately 60 rural customers. Service activation for customers is expected in spring 2027. A key highlight of this project is its strong local impact. Most construction crews working on the project are based in the Sundance area, helping keep jobs and economic activity within the local community. Range is also partnering with Vantage Point Solutions, an engineering firm based in South Dakota, to provide engineering support and regional expertise throughout the project. "Projects like this are about more than infrastructure - they're about strengthening the communities we serve," said Jason Wille, Chief Marketing Officer. "We're proud to work alongside local crews and regional partners to bring reliable, high-speed internet to rural Wyoming."
