VesselBot

Multimodal supply-chain emissions transparency platform

Overview

VesselBot provides a Supply Chain Sustainability Platform that helps shippers measure, monitor, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions across sea, air, rail, and road. It uses a Digital Twin of the global merchant fleet to compute accurate Scope 3 emissions by incorporating voyage data, weather, and port operations with primary and modeled data. The platform can be API-integrated or used standalone and is accredited under the GLEC Framework, ISO 14083, and CDP. Its goal is to increase emissions transparency, optimize carrier selection and network design, and cut emissions and transport costs for sectors like FMCG, healthcare, construction, and automotive.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • VesselBot released Q1 2026 analysis on 82,212 voyages, proving active data generation.
  • Its 2026 reports expose carrier surcharge overpayments, creating direct ROI for shippers.
  • FreightWaves' 2025 FreightTech 100 recognition strengthens sales credibility with logistics buyers.

What critics are saying

  • PitchBook still shows only $39,000 raised, starving sales and product expansion.
  • Large incumbents like SAP, Oracle, and project44 can bundle emissions features by 2027.
  • If shipping decarbonization budgets tighten, VesselBot becomes a reporting tool, not a platform.

What makes VesselBot unique

  • 2026-09-09 IDC named VesselBot an Innovator for AI-native sustainability software.
  • VesselBot pairs shipment-level execution data with emissions calculations across ocean, air, road, rail.
  • SFC accreditation and ISO 14083 alignment give it trusted methodology against averages.

VesselBot named as Coolest Vendor in Gartner's Coolest Vendor Innovations in Cross-Functional Supply Chain Technology.

VesselBot named as Coolest Vendor in Gartner's Coolest Vendor Innovations in Cross-Functional Supply Chain Technology. VesselBot Recognized as a Coolest Vendor(TM) in the Gartner(R) Coolest Vendor Innovations in Cross-Functional Supply Chain Technology (2026) ATHENS, GREECE, September 29, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ - VesselBot, the technology company behind an execution-grade Logistics Intelligence Platform for global supply chains, has been recognized in the Gartner(R) report, "Coolest Vendor Innovations in Cross-Functional Supply Chain Technology." This inclusion builds on VesselBot's continued presence in industry research, with the company featured across multiple reports by leading market analyst firms covering supply chain technology, logistics and sustainability. In VesselBot's view, the recognition highlights the growing importance of transforming fragmented transportation and shipment execution data into execution-grade intelligence that supports decision-making across procurement, logistics, sustainability and finance. "For us, this recognition reflects the direction we believe the industry needs to take." said Constantine Komodromos, Founder and CEO of VesselBot. "Constant change is no longer the exception in global logistics. It is the new operating reality. Routes shift, costs fluctuate and disruptions emerge faster than traditional planning cycles can respond. Supply chain leaders need intelligence that reflects how transportation is actually being executed, so they can continuously adapt decisions across cost, service, carbon and risk as conditions change." VesselBot transforms real-world shipment execution data across ocean, air, road, rail and parcel transportation into commercial and operational intelligence. Its Logistics Intelligence Platform processes more than 10 billion logistics data points daily, combining shipment execution data with operational modelling and external signals to support the evaluation of freight costs, fuel surcharges, emissions, service performance and supply chain risk from the same underlying data foundation. The 2026 inclusion follows VesselBot's previous recognition as a Cool Vendor in the 2023 Gartner(R) report, Cool Vendors(TM) in Cross-Functional Supply Chain Management Technology.
