Overview

Voter Education Project runs civic education and voter outreach programs for communities that have been marginalized or excluded from electoral participation. Its work combines door-to-door canvassing with phone calls, relationship-based outreach, and local messengers to explain voting and encourage people to take part in elections. The organization also hosts voter registration resources, including tools to check registration status, request absentee ballots, find polling places, and prepare future voters. It operates as a national social welfare nonprofit under section 501(c)(4), with programs designed for the communities it serves. The organization traces its work to 2013.
