Overview

WePlanet is an international non-profit network of grassroots citizen organizations that uses a science-based, ecomodernist approach to address environmental crises. It runs campaigns and policy advocacy across more than 16 countries, supported by data-driven research and collaboration with scientists and environmentalists. Its funding comes entirely from philanthropic foundations and individual donors, with no industry or corporate money. The organization backs technologies such as nuclear energy, GMOs, cultivated meat, and precision fermentation to decarbonize and improve human well-being, aiming to advance pragmatic, evidence-based environmental solutions through global collaboration.
