West Bay Collaborative

Nonprofit special education and career programs

Overview

West Bay Collaborative is a nonprofit education organization serving students, young adults and educators in Rhode Island. Its Elevate programs provide preschool, elementary and secondary instruction with individualized special education and social-emotional support. Transition and vocational services help learners build employment and independent-living skills, while an academy at the Community College of Rhode Island supports young adults preparing for life after school. School-district tuition payments fund its programs, and member-district leaders govern a network that also offers educator training and support services. Founded in 1991, the organization is based in West Warwick, Rhode Island.
