Overview

Whitney Young Health is a nonprofit community health center serving adults and children across New York's Capital Region, including those without insurance or with limited incomes. Its clinics in Albany, Troy and Watervliet combine primary medical and dental care with behavioral health and addiction treatment. School-based centers and the Whitney on Wheels mobile unit bring medical care to schools, public housing and community centers. Transportation, interpretation and patient education address barriers to care, and uninsured patients have access to a sliding fee scale. Established in 1971, the organization is headquartered in Albany, New York.
