EHS Insight joins Workday partner programme to connect workforce data with safety compliance

EHS Insight has joined the Workday Partner Program to integrate its environmental, health and safety (EHS) management software with Workday Human Capital Management (HCM). The integration automatically synchronises employee data, job roles and employment status changes from Workday into EHS Insight's platform. The connection enables organisations to streamline safety training assignments, maintain OSHA logs and improve compliance reporting without manual data entry. Multi-site manufacturers, energy providers and healthcare systems are already using the integration to align HR and safety operations. The partnership extends Workday's capabilities into operational safety and EHS compliance, particularly for high-risk industries including manufacturing, logistics, energy, maritime and construction. The integration also supports ESG and sustainability reporting by connecting facility-level environmental and safety data with workforce information.

Workday appoints John Lombard as Asia Pacific president

Workday has appointed John Lombard as President for Asia Pacific to lead regional growth and go-to-market strategy across key markets. The move signals the company's focus on expanding its enterprise cloud applications in the region. Lombard brings experience from NTT Data, SAP, and advisory firms including KPMG Australia and Crowe Howarth. His background in complex, multi-country deployments positions him to support Workday's expansion where enterprises continue adopting cloud-based HR and finance systems. The appointment comes as Workday's stock trades around $137.88, down 33% year-to-date. The leadership change underscores the company's push into Asia Pacific, where it competes with SAP and Oracle. Lombard's regulatory expertise in Australia and Southeast Asia may prove valuable for sectors with strict data and compliance requirements.
