Citation Capital invests in World Travel Holdings, $2.5B cruise distributor

Citation Capital has invested in World Travel Holdings, a Fort Lauderdale-based cruise and leisure travel distributor generating over $2.5 billion in annual booking volume. The company operates an asset-light platform including franchise networks such as Dream Vacations and CruiseOne, alongside nearly 40 owned brands. Founded in 2005, World Travel sells cruises, resort holidays and luxury travel services through partnerships with airlines, hotels and travel providers. Co-founders and co-CEOs Jeff and Brad Tolkin will retain significant ownership stakes and continue leading operations. This marks Citation Capital's fourth platform deal since launching in 2023. The firm focuses on founder- and family-led middle-market businesses across services, industrial and consumer sectors. Lydie Hudson and Tiffany Hagge led the transaction.
