XTB posts €49.3m third-quarter net profit and record client assets. 30 Oct 2026, XTB's preliminary third-quarter results show net profit up 295.2% year on year and all-time high client assets, led by stocks, ETFs and Investment Plans. XTB S.A. reported net profit of €49.3m for the third quarter of 2026, up 295.2% year on year (y/y), alongside all-time high client assets. The Warsaw Stock Exchange-listed retail broker, which offers contracts for difference (CFDs, leveraged products tracking price moves), stocks, exchange-traded funds (ETFs, baskets of securities traded like shares) and Investment Plans, said the profit beat analysts' expectations. The figures come from XTB's preliminary results, meaning numbers issued ahead of the full accounts. XTB gave no consensus figure for the beat. It described €143.8m as revenue from other financial instruments, including shares and ETFs, up 63.3% y/y. XTB said volatility was lower from July to September than in the first half of 2026, yet results still beat expectations. Omar Arnaout, chief executive of XTB, said: The past quarter proved that its strategy is effective not only in periods of heightened financial market volatility. Recent months were characterized by significantly greater calm than the first half of 2026, and despite this, Leaprate were able to achieve financial results that beat analysts' expectations. Omar Arnaout, XTB Arnaout added that he expects further expansion of the product offering to deliver even better results. XTB added more than 335,000 new clients in the quarter, up 51.4% y/y, and almost 1.04m so far this year. Active clients, a term the release does not define, passed 1.56m. Client assets, the value of customer holdings at the broker, passed €12.7bn. | Measure | Q3 2026 | Change y/y | | Net profit | €49.3m | +295.2% | | Revenue from other financial instruments | €143.8m | +63.3% | | New clients | 335,000+ | +51.4% | | Total clients | About 3.14m | +64.8% | | Active clients | 1.56m+ | +70.3% | | Client assets | €12.7bn | Not given | XTB said 84.4% of new clients started with stocks, ETFs or Investment Plans. Stocks, at over €5.8bn, and ETFs, at nearly €5.3bn, together make up over 86% of client assets. XTB reported more than 70m stock, ETF and Investment Plan transactions so far this year, double the first nine months of 2025. It also counted more than 11,700 UK individual savings account (ISA) and Cash ISA accounts, and pointed to marketing and sports sponsorships.
Anthropic's reported H1 revenue jumped 1,300%, with Q3 in context. Reported H1 revenue rose from $1.163 billion to $16.286 billion year over year; the $16.8 billion Q3 figure covers a separate three-month period. October 30, 2026 Key points * 01 Anthropic, PBC filed its Form S-1 with the SEC on October 26, 2026. * 02 Reported H1 revenue rose from $1.163 billion to $16.286 billion, an increase of $15.123 billion. * 03 Separate reports put Q3 revenue at $16.8 billion; rounded Q2 figures yield reported sequential growth of about 45%-46%. * 04 The reported H1 net loss, operating loss, and adjusted operating income are distinct measures. Anthropic's reported H1 revenue rose 1,300.3% year over year. See how the separate $16.8 billion Q3 figure, compute costs and H1 losses fit together. Anthropic, PBC filed a Form S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on October 26, 2026. XTB reported revenue of $16.286 billion for the six months ended June 30, 2026, compared with $1.163 billion in the same period of 2025. That is a $15.123 billion increase, or about 1,300.3% year over year. The SEC filing index records the filing date; Bloomberg rounded the 2026 revenue figure to $16.3 billion. For context on the possible listing, see NeoTeo's earlier coverage of Anthropic's possible IPO. The H1 comparison covers two six-month periods. The roughly 1,300.3% growth figure compares revenue in the first half of 2026 with revenue in the first half of 2025. The reported figures translate to an increase of $15.123 billion over those matched periods. | Reported measure | H1 2025 | H1 2026 | Change | | Revenue | $1.163 billion | $16.286 billion | +$15.123 billion; about +1,300.3% year over year | Q3 revenue is a separate quarterly figure. Separate reports put Anthropic's Q3 2026 revenue, for July through September, at $16.8 billion. That quarter is distinct from the six-month H1 total. Reports rounded Q2 revenue to either $11.5 billion or $11.6 billion, producing sequential-growth figures of about 46% or 45%, respectively. Those percentages compare one quarter with the previous quarter. They are not the same calculation as H1's year-over-year growth, which compares two six-month periods. How revenue growth relates to costs and losses. Reports put Anthropic's H1 2026 operating loss at $693 million, adjusted operating income at about $1.62 billion, and net loss at about $80.7 billion. These are separate financial measures. | H1 2026 measure | Reported result | | Operating result | $693 million loss | | Adjusted operating income | About $1.62 billion positive | | Net loss | About $80.7 billion | Wall Street Journal reporter Anissa Gardizy explained that most of the reported net loss came from an accounting adjustment tied to previous financings. The net loss therefore is not an equivalent measure of cash spent. XTB also reported $8.945 billion in compute and infrastructure expense for H1 2026, compared with $2.334 billion in H1 2025. Those expenses represented 54.9% of revenue in H1 2026, down from 200.7% a year earlier. The expense ratio puts the infrastructure costs alongside revenue; it does not replace the distinct operating, adjusted operating, and net results. The data confirm this. In Q2, revenue was PLN 992.3 million and net profit was PLN 492.2 million. In Q1, these were PLN 1,094.0 million and PLN 535.0 million, respectively. In Q3, revenue therefore fell by about 37% quarter on quarter, and net profit by about 57% quarter on quarter. The management board reports that in the first 27 days of October, XTB acquired over 100.6 thousand new clients. The ambition for 2026 is an average of at least 250-290 thousand new clients per quarter. Gold the most profitable instrument of the quarter. The report shows that the structure of gross profit on instruments shifted strongly in Q3 toward commodities. The share of commodity-based CFDs rose to 70.8% from 48.5% a year earlier. The company attributes this to the high profitability of transactions in gold, oil, natural gas and silver. The share of index CFDs fell to 12.0% from 32.4%. Gold was the most profitable instrument of the quarter (24.81% of gross profit on instruments), ahead of oil (19.77%). Costs lower than mBank's forecast. Mikołaj Lemańczyk from mBank Brokerage Office estimated that XTB's operating costs would increase by 39%. In fact, they amounted to PLN 397.6 million and were 23.2% higher than a year earlier. XTB's quarterly profit quadruples and beats forecasts as clients trade less. Wednesday, 28/10/2026 | 12:00 GMT-7 by Damian Chmiel * The PLN 213.7 million result topped the analyst average by 6.4% but was less than half the second quarter's. * Revenue rose 66% as the broker made almost twice as much per lot, mostly on gold, oil and gas contracts. XTB's third-quarter net profit rose fourfold from a year earlier to PLN 213.7 million (about $54 million), the Warsaw-listed broker said today (Wednesday). The preliminary figure came in 6.4% above the PLN 200.8 million average of five analyst forecasts. That is still less than half the PLN 492.2 million XTB earned in the second quarter, a drop analysts had expected as markets calmed. Revenue rose 65.9% year on year to PLN 623.3 million, although clients traded 18.3% fewer contracts for difference (CFDs) measured in lots. XTB earned PLN 301 per lot, almost double the PLN 152 of a year earlier, as commodity CFDs produced 70.8% of its gross result on financial instruments. Revenue grew faster than at london-listed rivals. Of the three listed CFD providers that have reported the July-September quarter, XTB posted the fastest revenue growth. XTB's growth was about six times Plus500's, by FinanceMagnates.com's calculation, though its revenue was still 37.2% below the PLN 992.3 million of a second quarter in which profit beat forecasts and the shares hit a record. Gold, oil and gas carried the trading result. XTB said the quarter brought less activity on financial and commodity markets than the first half, with volatility staying high in commodities and markets calmer on stock indices. Commodity CFDs, led by gold, crude oil, natural gas and silver, generated 70.8% of the gross result on financial instruments, against 48.5% a year earlier. That share was 60.5% in the second quarter, FM Intelligence data show. Index CFDs fell to 12.0% from 32.4%. Stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs), grouped as other instruments, rose to 12.3% from 8.3%. More clients, higher marketing bill. XTB added 335,704 new clients in the quarter, up 51.4% from a year earlier and slightly more than the 333,292 of the second quarter. Its client base reached 3.14 million, while active clients rose 70.3% to 1.57 million. Net deposits rose to PLN 5.65 billion from PLN 3.23 billion a year earlier, the company said. Operating costs increased 23.2% year on year to PLN 397.6 million, mainly because marketing spending rose by PLN 45.8 million to PLN 187.3 million. Costs fell by PLN 22.1 million from the second quarter as online marketing was cut. The next push began after the quarter closed. XTB started what it calls its biggest advertising campaign on October 1, featuring footballer Zlatan Ibrahimović and boxer Tyson Fury on four continents. The company said it signed up more than 100,600 new clients in the first 27 days of October, against its goal of an average of 250,000 to 290,000 a quarter in 2026. It still expects 2026 operating costs up to about 30% higher than in 2025, with marketing up about 50%. Nine-Month profit nearly double all of 2025. For the first nine months, net profit reached PLN 1.24 billion, against PLN 463.3 million a year earlier and PLN 644.2 million for all of 2025. The first half had already brought a record 703,333 new clients, though CFDs generated 96% of the trading result. XTB will discuss the figures at a results conference tomorrow (Thursday) and publish its full quarterly report on November 20.
