Xenter builds a wireless TechMed ecosystem by combining smart, sensor-enabled medical devices such as guidewires and catheters with a data platform. These devices gather real-time physiological data inside the body and send it over the XenFI network to the HIPAA-compliant XMD cloud for analysis. AI and machine learning turn this data into insights for physicians, enable new drug research, and support patient data ownership. The company aims to automate clinical workflows, reduce procedural complexity, and lower healthcare costs by replacing conventional instruments with data-producing tools in interventional cardiology, radiology, and neurointerventional procedures.

Xenter, a Utah-based TechMed company, has closed its Series B financing round, raising $58.25 million. The funding, completed on 30 June, will support the commercial launch of XenFi, its wireless healthcare intelligence platform, and continued development of wireless medical devices. The round attracted participation from existing shareholders, family offices, and healthcare investors. Proceeds will fund commercial expansion, technology development, manufacturing, and clinical initiatives. Founded in 2020 by Richard J. Linder, Xenter develops diagnostic evaluation systems and wireless medical devices that capture Physical Intelligence data. The company plans to initiate clinical testing of its Guru dual sensor physiology guidewire for Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement procedures. Xenter has appointed Linda Vega, a former Wachovia Bank executive, to its board of directors.

Revolutionizing Data Collection in Cardiology with Proprietary Wireless EcosystemDRAPER, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Xenter, Inc. (Xenter.io) announced the recent unveiling of its groundbreaking dual sensor investigational guidewire for TAVR procedures at the Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) 2023 conference in San Francisco, CA. Xenter introduced the first-of-its-kind wireless guidewire designed for use during transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) procedures that aims to collect an extensive range of crucial real-time data points to serve as an aortic regurgitation measurement (xAR™) and clinical decision support tool, significantly enhancing the prediction of para valvular leak (PVL) during TAVR.The guidewire's functionality is designed to allow for comprehensive data collection and analysis and facilitates data necessary for novel Artificial Intelligence (AI) decision making tools. The goal is to enable better-informed clinical decisions and improve patient outcomes. The guidewire is designed to operate seamlessly within a proprietary wireless ecosystem in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab making real-time data and analysis more accessible than ever.Rich Linder, Chairman/CEO of Xenter, founded Xenter to revolutionize the collection of Physical Intelligence™ (PI) data into actionable insights. “We built Xenter to enable Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to be utilized with ease and accuracy using new smart/wireless medical devices that transmit real-time PI data
Robert E. Beasley, MD, FSIR, FSCAI is partner of Palm Vascular Centers of Miami Beach, Florida and a board-certified vascular and interventional radiologist that focuses on amputation prevention and limb salvage. An expert in carotid artery stenting, Dr. Beasley participated in a clinical trial that paved the way for Medicare to approve the treatment as a reimbursable procedure. He has also developed a robust vascular practice for the treatment of peripheral arterial disease (PAD), critical limb ischemia (CLI), and endovascular repair of aortic aneurysms. During his career, Dr. Beasley has participated in more than 100 clinical trials — many as National Principal Investigator (PI), he is the National PI for the MicroStent STAND Trial, and he is participating in the NIH-sponsored CREST-2 carotid stent trial. The author of numerous publications in peer-reviewed medical journals, his work has been presented at more than 100 regional, national, and international medical meetings. (Photo: Business Wire).
