SNA Displays, YESCO complete major LED signage upgrade at iconic LA Union Station.

SNA Displays, YESCO complete major LED signage upgrade at iconic LA Union Station. July 14, 2026 / News LOS ANGELES - SNA Displays and YESCO recently completed a large-scale interior LED signage upgrade at the historic Los Angeles Union Station. The project replaced outdated digital displays with 15 state-of-the-art, high-resolution LED units designed to enhance the passenger experience at one of the West Coast's busiest transportation hubs. Working under Abbott Construction, the project's general contractor, YESCO provided and installed the new digital signage package throughout Union Station's interior. The upgraded displays, manufactured by SNA Displays, feature significantly improved pixel pitch and brightness, delivering higher visual clarity for transit information, wayfinding, station announcements, event messaging and local advertising. The new screens also increase overall display area, replacing previous units with larger formats that improve visibility and accessibility for travelers navigating the 86-year-old landmark. "Completing this upgrade at the Los Angeles Union Station reflects our team's commitment to delivering high-quality digital display solutions for some of the nation's most significant public spaces," said Jeff Young, executive vice president, YESCO. "These new LED systems enhance the flow of information for travelers every day while honoring the architectural character and history of this iconic station." The digital signage package included a variety of display types and dimensions tailored to the station's architectural environment. New installations range from 8'3" tall x 18' wide wall-mounted displays to suspended, double-faced 3'3" tall x 18' wide directional units, along with several large-format concourse displays measuring up to 4'1" tall x 24'7" wide. Pixel pitch specifications span 1.5 mm, 2.5 mm, and 3.9 mm, providing crisp, high-resolution viewing at multiple distances within the station's waiting room, passageways and passenger concourse. Collectively, the displays process approximately 22.4 million pixels across more than 1,500 square feet of digital canvas. YESCO collaborated closely with Morlin Asset Management, the property manager and agent for Los Angeles Union Station, as well as Selbert Perkins Design, the project's design firm, to integrate the upgraded displays into the historic station while maintaining architectural integrity. Opened in 1939, Union Station is listed on both the National Register of Historic Places and the California Register of Historical Resources and remains the busiest railroad passenger terminal in the western United States. "It's been a pleasure to work with the project teams and stakeholders at Union Station, one of the country's most notable transportation hubs," said Craig Sholder, director of sales at SNA Displays. "The high-end LED displays deliver clearer, more efficient communication for daily travelers, all while seamlessly integrating with the station's timeless character." About SNA Displays.
