Youtooz

Direct-to-consumer licensed creator collectibles

Overview

Youtooz creates licensed collectible vinyl figures and plushies based on internet personalities, memes, video games, and mainstream media. It sells through a direct-to-consumer model using limited-edition pre-order drops on its website, with figures typically priced around $30. The company also partners with retailers like GameStop and Spencer’s and sells on Amazon. Youtooz collaborates directly with creators and major IP holders (e.g., Disney, Paramount, NBCUniversal) and shares profits with the creators it immortalizes. Its drops build scarcity to drive demand among a young collector audience (roughly 14–25 years old), and its offerings have expanded from vinyl figures to plushies and other items. The goal is to provide a monetization channel for online creators by turning internet culture into licensed, collectible merchandise and growing a multi-channel distribution for these products.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Youtooz keeps landing fresh 2026 collaborations, including Job Simulator, Dispatch, and 1000xRESIST.
  • Amazon, GameStop, Spencer's, and specialty retail broaden distribution beyond pure DTC.
  • Microdesigns opens museums, stadiums, and heritage venues, expanding Youtooz beyond internet culture.

What critics are saying

  • Licensing concentration leaves Youtooz vulnerable if Disney, Hasbro, or game IP owners renegotiate.
  • Limited-run drops cap revenue per franchise; a weak release can stall quarterly momentum.
  • Microdesigns integration can distract management through 2026 while stretching quality control across new formats.

What makes Youtooz unique

  • Youtooz owns creator-first licensed drops across Disney, Hasbro, Paramount, and game studios.
  • Its scarcity-driven preorders and $29.99 pricing convert fandom into repeat collectible purchases.
  • The 2025 Microdesigns acquisition adds brick-built models and venue-based sports retail.

Dispatch characters have been turned into plushes, and yes, Beef made the cut.

Dispatch characters have been turned into plushes, and yes, Beef made the cut. Published Mar 31, 2026, 8:09 AM EDT Josh Coulson is an editor at The Gamer, covering news, features, and reviews for the site since 2018. Josh studied Journalism and Media Studies at the University of the West of England, beginning his career as a concert and comedy show reviewer, and then a professional wrestling reporter after that for fellow Valnet site, TheSportster. Having written thousands of articles for TheGamer during his time here, Josh has written news about every game, series, and studio you could possibly imagine. However, he specializes in affiliate work, having covered exclusive reveals and events for brands and games including Pokemon, Funko, and Baldur's Gate 3. Youtooz is teaming up with Dispatch studio Adhoc to turn some of the hit superhero game's best characters into plushes. Four of them will kick off the collection later this week, and don't worry, there's a Beef one. Youtooz revealed the four plushes coming to its online store later this week, with Robert Robertson's adorable dog Beef getting top billing. I don't know if that was intended, but Beef's photo is the first of the four featured in Youtooz's tweet revealing the plushes, so I'm going to assume his is the most important. Beef, Blonde Blazer, Invisigal, and Robert Robertson. Robertson, better known as Mecha Man to some, is also getting a plush, although it's based on how he looks out of his super-powered armor. Fair, as that's how he appears pretty much the entire time in the game. Joining him and Beef are Blonde Blazer and Invisigal. Yes, unless you plan on buying both, which is an option, that does mean you are once again going to have to choose between them. Let me choose for you - Invisigal. It's always Invisigal. Prices and pre-order details. The plushes are all nine inches tall and, although all instantly recognizable if you're even the tiniest bit familiar with Dispatch, each of them has been given the chibi-style makeover that all figures and plushes get by Youtooz. They will also all cost the same as other standard Youtooz plushes - $29.99. Pre-orders for all four plushes will open at 3 pm EST on Friday, April 3, 2026, on the Youtooz website, but you're going to have to wait until you can hold Beef and various other members of Dispatch's Z-Team in your arms. Youtooz won't be shipping the plushes until October. Not ideal for those who want them right away (like me), but perfect if you have any Dispatch fans in your life you'd like to buy Christmas gifts for very early. It's been a good news week for Dispatch fans. Not only is the hit indie game getting its first official plushes, but those of you who do your gaming on Xbox will soon be able to find out what all the fuss is about. Dispatch is confirmed to be coming to Xbox this summer, and it won't be the censored version that was released on Nintendo Switch. There's still no word on when, or even if, Dispatch might get a season two. Considering the massive success of season one, and now some of the core characters getting their own plushes, you'd have to think Adhoc has at least discussed it. As for future plushes, if Youtooz is taking requests, I'd like a Malevola one next, please. We're Getting Valentine's Day Themed Baldur's Gate Merch, As Long As You're Not A Fan Of Wyll Or Lae'zel

Gamerant is getting Valentine's Day themed Baldur's Gate merch, as long as you're not A fan of Wyll or Lae'zel. Rhiannon (she/her) is the Deputy News Lead and Chief Reporter at TheGamer. You may have heard her on the BBC or read her words at TechRadar Gaming and TechRaptor. She won MCV's Journalism Impact for Women in Games in 2025. At TheGamer, you will often find her chatting to game developers, writers, and actors about their crafts. This includes a deep dive into Cyberpunk 2077's narrative, and a series on the making of the Fable trilogy. She also follows industrial action and existential threats to its workers, particularly the use of generative AI. As part of this, she's explored how AI Darth Vader sets a dangerous precedent, and was one of the first reporters to look into generative AI dating companions. Hasbro is once again partnering with Youtooz to give Gamerant new Baldur's Gate 3 merch, just in time for Valentine's Day. However, despite there being six main companions in the game, the romance collection only includes four of them, with two frustrating exclusions. The collection includes romance-themed figurines of Karlach, Shadowheart, Gale, and Astarion, meaning that Wyll and Lae'zel are left without. It is an odd omission, given that Wyll and Lae'zel are just as significant as the rest of the origin companions, but sadly, it's something that fans have become accustomed to. Baldur's Gate 3 Valentine's Day Youtooz revealed. The figurines are set to go on sale tomorrow. They will be available to purchase alongside a bunch of other figurines and plushies themed around Valentine's Day, including mini Ghost and Soap figurines, much to everyone's amusement. Unlike Ghost and Soap, the Baldur's Gate 3 gang are sold separately, not as a bundle. While this gives Gamerant more characters om offer than the other crossovers, it's the choice of characters that isn't going down well with fans. Since launch, many fans have complained of how little content Wyll gets in comparison to other characters, particularly Astarion, who has more dialogue than anyone else in the party. Larian recently admitted that this came about due to his writer being away on sick leave during development, meaning parts of his story had to be scrapped and merged into other parts of the plot. While Lae'zel doesn't have that problem, she can also be overlooked, especially compared to Shadowheart and Karlach. As some have pointed out, Minthara and Halsin are also missing, since they are romanceable companions. However, Lae'zel and Wyll not making the cut is more egregious, since they are origin companions like the rest of the gang. Still, merch for the other two would not go amiss either. There are other Lae'zel and Wyll Youtooz available if you fancy one, thanks to previous collaborations. However, it doesn't look like Gamerant is getting any raunchy figurines depicting them in their underwear, unless another wave is planned after this lot. TheGamer report: subscribe and never miss what matters. Level up your gaming knowledge with TheGamer, your passport to the world of gaming. If you do pick one of the characters who are actually available, then the figurine should be with you sometime in either August or September. Alas, it will be a late Valentine's Day present if that's what you're going for. * OpenCritic Reviews - Top Critic Avg: 96/100 Critics Rec: 97% * Released - August 3, 2023 * ESRB - M for Mature: Blood and Gore, Partial Nudity, Sexual Content, Strong Language, Violence * Developer(s) - Larian Studios * Publisher(s) - Larian Studios * Engine - Divinity 4.0 * Multiplayer - Online Co-Op, Local Co-Op * Cross-Platform Play - Full cross-platform play.
